Boks are going to get pumped again. Weak scrum, 50/50 passes that’ll go to the oppo and crap defence.

Maybe the Proteas should play the All Blacks. Your team might be more intimidating if that happened.

Indeed, with the proper application of the Laws of Rugby, there might be an upset ... ... but I am struggling to ( even generously) see how ...

Hope its a good one ... !! :P

Looking forward to this match. The Springboks have been historically our fiercest rivals, and at home they've traditionally been almost impossible to beat. I expect them to bring a level of intensity and physicality that will be unlike anything we've encountered so far in this year's Rugby Championship. Given we will spend the first half of the week travelling from Argentina, I expect that the Springboks will go into this match as firm favourites.

The pressure of expectation is all on the home team. The weight of the nation is on their shoulders. Everyone is depending on them.

Let's look at this this objectively.

The 2017 Springboks are the best team in the world

1st equal: SA played 8 lost 1
1st equal: ENG played 7 lost 1
1st equal: NZ played 9 lost 1*
4th: Ireland played 8 lost 2
5th equal: Scotland played 8 lost 3
5th equal: Australia played 8 lost 3
7th: Wales played 7 lost 3
8th: France played 8 lost 5
9th: Arg played 8 lost 7
10th: Italy played 8 lost 8

* would have been 3 against coach SOB

A massive challenge for the ABs

Hahaha, victories against France & Argentina doesn't count for anything since 2012.

All Blacks lock Brodie Retallick will not be travelling to South Africa for the test against the Springboks after his wife lost their baby boy prematurely.

All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen confirmed the news this afternoon.

"We're really feeling for them at this sad time and our thoughts are with them and their families," said Hansen.

"As a result, Brodie will stay home with Niki and rejoin the team when the time is right."

Meanwhile, Sam Cane, Ryan Crotty, Lima Sopoaga, Liam Squire and Sam Whitelock have arrived in South Africa.

Vaea Fifita, Ngani Laumape, Waisake Naholo, Luke Romano and Ardie Savea will return to New Zealand.

It's fitting this game is played at Newlands.
Supporters here are desensitized. After years of AC. It's a real home coming for him

I think we deserve to drop this one. Just to give the boys the clip they need to sharpen their shit up.

A good start would be the Boys racing out to a 20 point lead.

Deserve? If they're beaten they'll deserve it. If they win they'll deserve it.

The All Blacks drew a Lions series they should've won. A chance that comes around once every twelve years. That was the clip around the ears.

Romano and Savea returning home is interesting. From the radio Romano was excellent.

Todd also. If this is a case of him getting more game time then I'm completely on board with with that. I know Savea is there to play a role, but in a RWC knock out I'd rather have Cane start with Todd on the bench.

You are dreaming lad. The mood is not good in the republic.
There will be more vocal AB supporters at the game than bok supporters.

Find it pretty easy to agree that Todd will be better bet in SA, he is playing bloody well!

Brodie Retallick will be a big loss for the All Blacks. With no Romano, it will be interesting to see if they give Tuipulotu a start or opt for the safer option, of Barrett starting at PT coming off the bench. That's the way I think Hansen will go.

really looking forward to the game, would love to see a resurgence for bokke rugby ( can't see it but would be happy if it happened)
I think the AB's will be focussed and brutal for this one as Brodie and the very unfortunate situation he is in will provide motovation.
Also would like be on the wishing Brodie and his missus the best team, its not cool, should not be trolled and wouldn't wish it on anyone team. :(
