Gordon won a writing Emmy in 2009 for her work on "Mad Men," but she has not worked in TV since she was let go from the "Mad Men" staff at the end of the third season. She began her TV career as a personal assistant to Weiner, then advanced to writing assistant to Weiner and ultimately to staff writer.

Of the incident, Gordon said she recalls freezing up and trying to brush off his comment. She didn't report the remark to anyone at the time out of fear of losing her job. She told the Information she decided to speak out about her experience following the explosive revelations of sexual assault allegations against film producer Harvey Weinstein.

Yep. A part of me sort of feels a bit sorry for Weiner. What he had was something way beyond just harrassment. He had the sex equivalent of an extreme gambling addiction. It must be a nightmare.

I'd flip tiers 1 and 2 there - Weiner seems to have something not right upstairs, whereas besides their own unconvincing claims there's not much reason to believe that Cosby or Weinstein are anything other than rapists or aspiring rapists with the power to cover their tracks. I agree. I think I put him first because it seems to be a legit medical problem but Cosby and Weinstein are the more monstrous characters. Carlos Danger is just a sick man.

I guess my main thoughts are that not every awkward fumble or attempt to bang an actress need to be seen as on the same level as asking Mossad to destroy the lives of women who refuse to fudge you. Which is, I fear, where its headed.
