No - the only thing out of sync is the English attack.

They miss Hodgson.

The Poms really should have taken the points on offer from the penalties in the 1st half.

Boyd Cordner motm for mine. As poor as the ref has been England have shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.

Yup, a repeat set had little benefit that close to HT.

Tom Burgess is having a nightmare here.

Pretty good effort from the Poms, the disparity in wealth and playing numbers in RL between the two countries is immense, Australia should never lose.

Been a good tight game though, much prefer this to Origin, still prefer rugby union by a mile.

I had Aussie by more as well.

Good effort by the English. Hard luck, guys. Hodgson was sorely missed.

Aussie spine so composed under all that pressure. As usual...

Good game On another day England could have won by 10.
Still think the try was off a forward pass and a few missed decisions would have turned it but congrats to the Kangaroos.

Fixed for you.

Having the ball is more important in league than union most of the time. It's like critisising nfl players for rarely passing.

But that in situation McGillvary really should have passed.

Scumbag sport.

How is it possible to score ZERO points when you get gifted the ball after making 5 tackes, are guaranteed 10 metres off every phase, and only have 13 opponents to get through.

Imagine the All Blacks or Ireland in those circumstances....decimation

Just caught up on the games now. So Final Results.

Aussie woman are the world champions beating NZ 23-16 in a game where both sides played really well. Some very talented players from both teams.

Kangaroos are world champs again beating England 6-0 with epic defence and the England squad under Aussie super coach Wayne Bennet seem to be a team on the rise. A real nail biter to the end.
