He took 6/41 on test debut, and scored the fastest ever maiden test hundred. He also scored 74* in an ODI against Pakistan as recently as mid-January, after he returned from Zimbabwe following the death of his father. But apart from that, nothing much.
It was a "Life of Brian" question. ;)
Ah right...I was, er, distracted by a loud whooshing sound passing overhead.

Kane's in doubt for tomorrow's game.
Black Caps captain Kane Williamson is in doubt for Wednesday's ODI against England with a hamstring injury.

Batsman Mark Chapman has been called into the squad as cover.

NZ coach Mike Hesson said Williamson had a "mild hamstring strain" and was "day to day".

Would be a massive blow obviously, but it mightn't be the worst thing long-term. He's looked a bit out of sorts recently, and a game or two off to refresh could be for the best. Chapman showed glimpses of promise in the T20s, and I'm interested to see what he can do with a bit more time.

Or he misses the game and they play better than they have in ages?

2nd ODI kicks off in Mt Maunganui in about 25 minutes.

England has won the toss and will bowl.

Williamson out, replaced by Mark Chapman on his ODI debut.

Munro goes early to woakes.

Looks like a nice pitch though - should be a high scoring game

9/2 as Woakes end Chapman's nervy debut. Good catch from Willey.

We'll be lucky to reach triple figures at this rate. :(

Plenty of batting to come and it is a good pitch - I still expect a competitive target. Just have to work much harder for it now - and it means you have to find a few extra runs to make up for the slow start.

Back to back boundaries from Guppers gets the scoreboard moving 21/2 six overs in.

From cricinfo
There have only been 4 ODI's at this ground. The record so far is 2 wins bowling first, and 2 wins batting first. Both the successful chases were low 200's and both the unsuccessful chases were high 200's. Admittedly, this is the D/N ODI game here so unsure what impact dew will have, but Black Caps should be happy with anything around 290, seeing as not once 300 has been scored in those 8 innings at this ground.

thanks - looks like it's one of the bigger grounds.

This pair look fairly well set now - bit of turn for Rashid which s keeping them honest.

Brilliant fielding from Willey and Taylor is run out - that was superb

Perhaps there's a bit there for the bowlers - could just be the strong breeze - it's also a bit overcast.

All the batsmen have found it hard to be fluent and play big shots.

They have bowled well - always helps when you get some wickets and the bats can't take any liberties - and they can also bring the field in a bit tighter.

Grandholme warming to his task. Plenty of cricket left in this game.

But Latham throws it away at the other end
