Ref gifted that one to the Saders. Maybe Foley a little bit too.

There's no Aussie commentary. The panel weren't happy with the refs and touchies/TMO all being from NZ though.

You really want to pick a game where the ref doesn't give the opposition two kickable penalties in the dying stages of the match for your hissy fit to be of value.

Foxtel Aus crew going full retard on the “we wuz robbed” gambit.

I assume they miss all the dirt Sekope Kepu puts in every week.

Both Hooper + Foley are saying, "tip tackle".

Ref goes, "no tip tackle".

It's an easy penalty, and a probable yellow card.

Goodhue can thank some home cooking on this one...

Also, Tahs would have knocked it on from the resulting possession - like last week...

Joubert didn't get much, that's why he was still available for the Wallabies in the 2015 Quarter Final.

Perhaps they should be more disappointed with what Foley did with the kickable penalty the ref gave him to win the game

No, he said it right there - free board and tucker in Canterbury. Dunno why, there were no RWC matches held there but maybe they haven't forgiven for something in his playing days.

Nick McArdle was genuinely angry. Almost unprofessional.

I agree that the Goodhue clean out was a penalty at the end. Wasn't kickable for Foley but a penalty would have led to a lineout deep in the Crusaders 22m. However I think the referee was also very lenient on the Waratahs, at one stage the Tahs gave away 6 penalties in a row from within their 22m and only conceded a YC through Naiyavaro's swat down. They should have been carded for deliberately infringing in their defensive red zone.

Lucky win in the end by the Crusaders. 29 points is a massive lead to claw back. Six drop balls/knock ons in the first 20 minutes was simply unacceptable.

Great comeback by the Saders after a nightmare first 20 minutes :(

Great to see the likes of Folau and Beale getting to show what they are really capable of

The biggest concern by far is the mental weakness of the Ozzie sides. Actually quite systematic of Ozzie sport in general at the moment. Put any doubt in their head and they are screwed.

The tip tackle non-decision was pretty average, but how none of the officials caught the elbow to Beale's face in the first half is far worse...

Craig Joubert mistakenly gave NSW a penalty which won them the 2014 Super Rugby Final.

I’m sure the Crusaders would gladly swap that one for this game.

Swings and roundabouts.

;) Saders did get lucky in certain aspects but the Tahs should have locked that one away with such a huge lead. Personally I think the Lions might just edge the Landers in Dunners, Franco Mostert is captain I see

I remember a game against the Highlanders where the Crusaders ran out to a quick 17 point lead but lost. Man that was depressing. Condolences Tahs fans, that's got to be hard to take.
