I always found the opening track, 15 Steps, a dribbly tune and skipped everytime. It is however, a superb album. One of my favourites.

Yes to RATM.

I bought the album below quite a while after it came without reading a single word of any reviews. Liked it immediately and came to love it. Was at first annoyed and then amused when I found out it was bagged to the shitehouse in the music press of that time.

Pfft. Choke on a song goat, as the frenchists say.

Thinking about it some more Suck Out the Poison by He Is Legend definitely qualifies, bar a short interlude track so does Sundowning by This Is Hell.

This makes me bemoan playing albums in their order as opposed to compiling!

Orange Juice - You Can’t Hide Your Love Forever
The Accidental - There Were Wolves
Felt - The Splendour of Fear
Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
Robyn - Eponymous
The Damned - Machine Gun Etiquette
The Housemartins - London 0 Hull 4
Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights
Astral Weeks - Van Morrison
Lloyd Cole and the Commotions- Rattlesnakes
Ramones - Rocket to Russia

Was a great album alright. Just sounded fantastic and Mayonnaise is one of my all time favourite songs. The album was my default, walking anywhere with headphones, soundtrack for years.

I guess people are programmed to carry around with them the music from their formative years, but there was so much superb stuff out there in the 90s

Swimming against a very strong tide here I know, but I never liked Neil Young's music. He's an whiny, boring dork that I never connected with.

There. I said it.
