Are you lot not supposed to be one of the better pretenders after Sarries/Exeter in the premiership?
Yes, but everyone else is pretty average/inconsistent. We just happen to be a bit less so.

I loosely follow the prem results, but don't really watch it at all, so I've no feel for form, areas of strength etc other than what I read/hear.

I hope WLR drops the ball while swan diving again.
Exeter and sarries are ten points clear already. The league is turning into Scottish football.

As for the most supporters represented, it's probably between us and quinns. The sale lot are surprisingly vocal though
We Sale fans are shy and retiring, always magnanimous to all; the very epitome how this bored should be.

Unless we call the team England, of course, and then it won't work
Except 90% of Leinsters players are from Leinster- what team in the Premiership has say over 50% of its starting team from the local area?
I daresay if we had a single team representing the south east, it would be chock full of players from the south east.

Ditto for any "region".
Whats the population of the south east of England about 9 million so about the population of Ireland and New Zealand combined

camroc1 wrote:My understandung is that several of the English Premiership teams eg Newcastle, Sale and LI have always had thriving u/a and Academy sections. Their big problem is poaching, ie richer clubs being able to offer good Academy youngstersfrom not so rich clubs much better first time pro contracts. There is also history. Historically Wasps were a tiny club , whilst Quins relied on posh public school internationals looking for a soft city job, so neither even attempted to develope their own players seriously.
What do you mean by Wasps being historically tiny?

Their juniors had a decent catchment area back in the day and was, for the time, very well structured.

They didn't play in front of big crowds, but noone in London really did

He hurt his leg and was pulled from the team. With the depth available probably a wise decision

If you could occasionally put the score up amongst the chat, that'd be great, I'm about to go into a 40th and will keep an eye on this thread

We're going to get reamed though, so I don't know why I'm bothering

Did BOD just say that was against the run of play?

Leinster had owned the ball from kick off.

That was a shite pass from McGrath, it's at Healy's knees as he gets hit.

How many time will James Lowe ‘clean’ someone out of a ruck that they are not part of, every time someone is tackled close to him, he wrestles the nearest Wasps player to the group even though they not he are part of any breakdown....l

Pass is at his knees as the defender hits him at the same height, hell of a job to hold onto it.
