4 changes from the side that lost abjectly to Tiggers - pretty sure it won't make the slightest difference to the end result. Not sure exactly what photographs Tuala and Reinach have of Boyd, but they must be pretty bad for them to keep getting selected regardless of the dross they serve up

14 Ahsee Tuala
13 Andrew Kellaway
12 Piers Francis
11 Tom Collins

10 Dan Biggar
9 Cobus Reinach
1 Alex Waller (co-captain)
2 Dylan Hartley (co-captain)
3 Ehren Painter
4 David Ribbans
5 Dom Barrow
6 James Haskell
7 Lewis Ludlam
8 Teimana Harrison

Replacements:
16 Mike Haywood
17 Francois Van Wyk

Pretty much as expected, given the season so far. No?

Really hard to see where the renaissance is going to come from at the moment. None of the new signings are lighting up the team, and even the veteran players haven't responded to the new coach. Could be a long season at this rate.

Chris Boyd looking like the new Tom Coventry on the evidence thus far

As expected really, scrum got smashed, lineout flaky, handling largely poor, too many players not good enough. Not looking forward to rest of the season.

Hard to tell if there's any improvements in the backs as Reinach is poison to quick ball.

We desperately need a tighthead. Painter has lots of potential and us undoubtedly learning at a rate of knots, but we need someone to shore up the scrum immediately.

A genuine 8 would be useful as well

A little harsh I think. This season was always going to be one of transition for Saints.

I think Boyd deserves credit for giving players like Ludlam and Painter a proper shot.

That's largely because of injuries though.
