Labour and the conservatives are placing huge faith in the idea that delivering any Brexit will bring back the status quo.

It seems delusional but possible.

Farage will say any Brexit is betrayal. Will people believe him or alternatively be bored, feel that any Brexit will do, and go back to their previous party allegiance?

If the latter is correct Conservatives will be OK but Labour are f**ked.

If Farages support holds up, it seems certain that he could only be beaten by Labour under a new remain leader.

Corbyn seemingly would rather be an unelectable opposition campaigner as long as Brexit happens, but Brexit will be in the hands of the right not the left.

If those results occurred would it be a brexit - conservative coalition ?
I’m surprised libs would gain so few seats as I’d have thought most Tory remainers would have voted for them. I also doubt in a GE if brexit party would come anywhere near that figure , probably just get Thurrock , Sunderland and Penzance .

It does seem a little skewed. People do treat General Elections differently and we haven't seen a manifesto from the Brexit party yet.

I probably agree but the situation the country finds itself in is unprecedented in that there’s a gigantic single issue that affects everything, brexit party pick up 30% of people who care about that single issue and though many people disagree with them, the opposing vote is split amongst 5 or so other parties. UKIP and Change seem dead.

It seems highly unlikely the two main parties will allow an election anyway in the current climate.
