Things getting tight up there B Man, that's big win for Cashel on the road today....

Oh for sure. Game cancelled with Buccs 30 seconds before kick off.

They were supposed to have a plan B of using Creggs RFC but didn't organise it.

Game on next weekend.

We are lucky a bit in that Cashel and Queens have to play each other but squeaky bum for sure.

Season Null and void....

No promotion or relegation

Bit of joke to say it's fair that Navan and Ballina stay in leagues they are in

Pretty devastating for us.

Dang - I was talking to a Barnhall friend of mine about coming home next season for 1 of the Shannon v Barnhall games...

Raw sense of unfairness has gone, certainly even harsher on Highfield. But such is life.

Honestly thought it would be one team up and one team down but no point moaning like a bitch on it

Just pack it up and get better for next season. Simples.

Hard luck to you lads too Mullet, you would have toughed that out.

Everybody fairly down in the club

I feel it would have been fair to at least award the titles

Seemingly no AIL as we know it for next season

Regional leagues split into 2/3 groups until before Xmas and some form of joined up division or round robin after that.

Condolences on WD. Trust you'll have a triple-dry hopped IPA to mark his passing.

You heard anything on the school's game BMan? AFAIK schools up here are organising fixtures for Sept onwards. Assuming anything arranged is just provisional though

Heard nothing - IRFU saying club games going ahead from September - so would make sense

Condolences again Mulet, think one of the older lads with us knew him quite well and was putting up a condolence from the club on RIP.

Bit of talk about the regional AIL idea after the funeral.

What do you make of the idea?

Seems to be a done deal. Regional before Xmas and some sort of All Ireland round robin in like 3 separate splits after Xmas

Not sure - still think they shat the bed too soon on calling the season null and void.

In Munster seems to be top 6 Munster clubs in one bracket and all rest in another

There is 18 teams from Leinster in AIL so would split perfectly into 3 x 6

You?

It was still all new for us so we're probably not as keen on it as other clubs.

That and the fact that we're in Belfast in 90 minutes versus say going to Enniscorthy

To be fair, Dublin teams get the luck of the draw in terms of Geography when it comes to away games, never have to do an overnight.

Saw for example Dolphin playing Rainey.... that’s an overnight.

If it went 6 -6-6 based on league positions as the league closed (which was the word we heard)

It would be

Lansdowne
UCD
Trinity
Tarf
Terenure
Wesley

Belvo
Marys
Naas
Navan
Barnhall
Malahide

Wanderers
Blackrock
Greystones
Enniscorthy
Tullamore
Skerries

I'd head out to Barnhall for some of those games!

That’s just our guess - but pretty sure something like is the plan in Munster
