I mean....Romero probably won that round. I counted 3 half decent strikes and he did 2 of them.

Well the contrast with the last fight is pretty stark.

Romero is managing this fight well. Adesanya looks a little flustered so far.

Probably 2-0 to Romero. Fight sucks, he's had the biggest impacts so far.

Adesanya probably won that round but needs to win the next two. Romero was quite passive.

Slowing the fight right down. Romero can go hard for the rest.

Adesanya's kicks  Still hard to call - you would want to finish this before the bell to be sure

That reminded me of when Tua fought in a title fight and never threw a punch. Disappointing.

Adesayna on points but it’s so close. If Romero doesn’t win he only has himself to blame for the pace.

Really the only decision you could make, Romero couldn’t be arsed fighting, how the hell can you win a title when you don’t want to fight?

Smart fight by Israel. Romero is tough as fudge. There is no rule in the UFC where you have to KO every opponent. I'm more than happy with that result.

Romero is a f**king chump. Waaah he didn't trade with me.

This is the guy that stood there doing absolutely nothing for the first minute.

Definitely not all there.

UFC is determined for 249 to go ahead, Khabib went back to Russia and got stuck, so now the UFC is doing Ferguson vs Gaethje for an interim instead

Its a great fight.

The importance of societal morale seems to have been totally discounted by Dana Whites critics. I'm not suggesting his motives are altruistic, but after another week of lockdown people will be grateful for the distraction.

Sitting down to watch lads annihilating one another for our entertainment will be a welcome break from the weight of the situation for a few hours for a lot of people.

I've no doubt it'll be a good fight, but Khabib and Ferguson need to fight. This risks that ever happening, what was this the 5th time in the making?
