I hope Gatland and Jones will agree to play some house rules - ie no kicking outside the 22 or something.

Nonsense, if we were to play some semi-professional South Americans and are in need of someone to run crab lines at their defence before being isolated and turning over the ball then 1/2p would be the first person I would suggest.

With some amazing effort we could be still in touch with them at 79 minutes, where we earn a penalty exactly on half way, up steps 1/2p with an opportunity to exorcise the semi final ghosts of 2011. The ball sails almost gloriously but still shitly 1 inch under the bar. Pheep.

I’m sorry to do this as it has probably been asked before but with the chances of England and Wales meeting each other soon (and they do every sodding year anyway) which way do you fall when push comes to shove?

Because, to be frank, that’s who you support. You can’t sit on the fence. This dual nationality thing is largely bollocks in a the same sporting supporting context. It doesn’t work. Sorry.
Did you get an answer to this one?

What are you all on about. Patchell plays 15. He's does very well there. Liam hasn't done so much this tourney. It may be to our advantage.

He's been asked a dozen times and never responds to them. It's either England or both, but its not Wales.

And I would welcome that choice but I bet it will be Halfpenny. I'd take Amos at 15 over Halfpenny now.

I know we wanted to get our post count up but ffs. Our backline a reps could be

15 1/2p
14 North
13 Watkin
12 Parkes
11 Adams
10 Biggar
9 Cawdor

Replacements Tomos, Patch, Lane (if Shingler is picked)

This. I’d honestly go Adams 15 and Lane straight in on the wing. Nothing to lose, such is the inevitable loss with Liam out and Halfpenny in.

We are. Kind of...we want a fullback who can counter-attack. We know he'll defend for his life, cover the ground brilliantly, make good decisions in defence all day long...but we also know he'll fall over a lot if he runs it back, and never pass it or look like passing it when he does run back. We know we want it all, we know that he's a safe pair of hands...but we also worry that playing it safe will not win us the game.

9 Cawdor
10 Biggar
11 North
12 Hadleigh
13 JD
14 Adams
15 Patch

Bench Tomos, HP

Its fine. We are not playing NZ. More concerned about losing Navidi. The Boks will truck it up the middle.
