Shane Lewis-Hughes, he's big, strong, fast and talented, he's like the lydiate and tipuric love child, big fan. Toss up between him and basham, but bashams just too small to start.
Lane might be injured don't know, same for halaholo.
Yeh Rhodri of Ospreys, looked strong against the cardiff scrum(that being said, I've seen piss into 70mph gusts look strong against the Cardiff scrum)
And infected shingler
Other candidates being Samson, Seb, Boyde, Macleod, Moriarty, Jarrod. Older lot need to be taken out back now
I met Rhodri when we played SA in DC. Mountain of a man. By far the biggest forward we have. I really hope he comes good. Just don't see it happening. My Cardiff mate who is a prop said his back is just too long.

I am never a fan of lightweight international forwards. Time and time again they get outmuscled upfront. That is exactly why Tipuric lost out to Warbs for so long. Far more talented, just got brushed off when it really counted. He has obviously strengthened up now. Boyde in the same boat. Too small. MacLeod is a decent size though. And I love Moriarty's ferocity. He and the Iranian are our two best go forward guys. Carre maybe even will play a role there too.

Havent even seen SLH play so cant comment.

God bless you and your insatiable drive to not let this thread die.

Carre, Ken, Francis, Awj, Ball, SLH, Navidi, Wainwright, Davies, Biggar, Adams, Halaholo, Tompkins, Lane, Sanjay

Elias, R.Jones, Lewis, Shingler, Basham, Hardy/ll.Williams, Patchell, Amos

derwyn, as ever, nail on the head. Awj needs to be put out to pastures new, his decline has been more than noticeable.
The break may have done AWJ some good.

He says having failed to watch a single minute of rugby since the Covid break.

15 Halfpenny
14 Adams
13 Tomcyn
12 ????
11 Steff Evs
10 Biggar
9 Cawdor
8 Navidi
7 Tipuric
6 Wainwright
5 AWJ
4 Ball
3 ????
2 Ken
1 Wyn Jones

12 a trouble spot possibly? -Johnny Williams, Owen Watkin, Kieran Williams
3 Samson has been good, Fatty Francis playing well?, Dillon Lewis? Leon still a poor scrummager

Rob Evs
Elliott Dee
Fatty or Lee
Lock???
Moriarty

Webb or Rhodri?
Sam Davies
Utility?

Difficult for me as I have only seen parts of some games. Don't even know who has played in some part.
An opportunity to experiment with the make up perhaps, particularly with Foxy, Liam, Lane, Willis, Anscombe, Tomos out
15 - Halfpenny (grudgingly)
14 - LRZ
13 - Adams - our best winger by a mile and if foxy is fit he stays on the wing, no other WQ centres really putting their hands up, the more often he gets the ball the better
12 - Tomkins - another we need to see with the ball as often as possible
11 - North if available or Hewitt (have an allergic reaction to Evans)
10 - Biggar
9 - Davies

Foxy will be ready in a few weeks. But no game time.
Liam is ready, he had a minor injury.
So Liam at 15 and Adams on the wing. I dont want Adams at OC.
Tomcyn at 13 and then who knows at 12.

Colin Stephens' son switches from League to Union.

I grew up with Colin. He was on the next street to me.

-So the Welsh regions' top players will barely play for their clubs this coming season.

-The 4 regions' funding has been cut from £26, to £3m

-The WRU take out a bank loan of £20m. Give it to the 4 regions, but expect them to pay it all back.

-Therefore, the 4 regions are literally paying the players not to play for them.

Anybody who still wonders why the Welsh regions "underperform" need only look at sh!t like this.

I have a feeling the reejuns will be digging the trenches and dusting off the old rifles. Welsh rugby is always just one issue away from a civil war.

Can we start an appreciation of Wales' best ever players at certain positions. I want to unearth some QUALITY players we (incl myself) are not aware of.

Let's start with lock. No big surprises here. Can we go back into the first half of the 20th century?

Rhys Williams

Much-loved Welsh rugby figure Phil Kingsley Jones has died at the age of 72.

Jones, father of former Wales rugby captain Kingsley Jones, passed away at his home in Auckland, New Zealand, following a period of illness.

The former Blaina, Ebbw Vale and Abertillery player was the man who 'discovered' rugby superstar Jonah Lomu at the age of 14, managing him for almost all of his illustrious career that changed the sport forever.

He also coached the Tongan national team, taking them on tours to South Africa and the UK in the 1997. The visit to Wales would prove influential in the establishment of the famous Tongan rugby community in the Welsh valleys.

Some would say that this refereeing performance is nothing short of crooked.

Well, well, well... unlucky Dragons. Would have won that if not for the ref handing Brizz 40 pts.
