That's dirty by Furlong. Only a penalty, but it's lead to an injury. He has a history of over stepping the mark with those clearouts.

Brave, smart just injured too much. Also the flapping at rucks is head wrecking

pretty gutting for him & for ScotlandConservative Eddie wrote:Christ. Some of these injuries.
Feel for any player, particularly with the RWC coming up.

Dirty mightn't be the best word, but it's not the first time this season that someone has to go off on a stretcher due to Furlong not binding and going in with the shoulder.fishooks15 wrote:Jumper wrote:That's dirty by Furlong. His knee is properly f**ked. You couldn't see the knee go sideways under the bodies, but you could see what way his foot was pointing and what way his body went.Leinsterman wrote:Broken ankle or damaged ligaments?
Both teams at it in fairness - ref allowing it so play onI like haggis wrote:These Leinster clearouts do come from all angles don't they.

That’s... not cool.Brian9848 wrote:Fardy is some player...consietntly among our best. Apparently turned down Cheika for a Wallabies WC return.. doesn't want to be away from young family.
The whole game is like this now. All the talk of the jackel surviving the clear out ignores the fact that the clear out is a guy flying in hard. Nothing dirty about it, but when something goes wrong, the injuries are horrific.Duff Paddy wrote:Both teams at it in fairness - ref allowing it so play onI like haggis wrote:These Leinster clearouts do come from all angles don't they.
