A home win for Wales (by any points margin) over England on Saturday will see them (the Welsh) assume the No 1 spot regardless of the result at Eden Park.

So NZ could fall behind Wales even if they thrash OZ this weekend? Good. I can't imagine anything would get the ABs more motivated than falling a few notches down the totem pole, especially if that puts them behind a team they haven't lost to in 66 years*.

Andy Hayden you cheating cnut.

Does hat mean if Wales was to upset NZ (unlikely as that may seem), NZ will fall to 4th for the first time ever?

None of the calculators I have seen agree with dark

Edit: I have sent this in two places

1
(1)
NZL
92.47
2
(3)
ENG
89.74
3
(2)
WAL
89.37
4
(5)
RSA
88.55
5
(4)
IRE
84.45

That was before the 2 semis.

Trust me.

I am awesome and don't get things like that wrong.

Infact I am so awesome I feel simultaneously jealous and in awe of my self....Because I am so awesome it scares me.

If you play around with score difference on the right hand side of that site, it shows how they will change.

And yes Wales would jump ahead if they win.

But we would move up if Saffers lose, or England lose by a large amount ................ or .....

(Massive amount of different scenarios)

3rd (could still drop further) is the lowest NZ has been in 16 years. That’s a pretty amazing run.

Does raise an interesting question.

If the Saffers win the cup. Will it feel hollow?

If you win this weekend, can you go back to 2nd?

Edit just checked, potentially yes.

Not for them. Maybe for us. But we have a bit if that already.

Fair enough. Didn't give me the option of the semis so I presumed they had already been calculated. They do seem more accurate
