Pathetic poster. It would help if ignoring a poster meant that you couldn't see them when others quoted them as well tbh.

How are the Stormers fans feeling about 2020? Has enough changed by way of coaches and players to expect a better season?

I am very optimistic for 2020. We'll have the best pack in S15 rugby with a young and exciting skakelpaar in Damian and Herschell which can ignite any backline. I am hoping that Dobson gameplan will be running rugby like the Ikeys play.

Me too Oom but in the end of the Currie Cup he went all conservative. Sometimes clever people out-think themselves tactically trying to do something different. We looked good running with the ball in hand. The players enjoy it more. In the old days it was an Ikey style but the Maties of the past few years have played good running rugby. I hope we (WP/Stormers) go back to traditional running rugby. We need to get more fans back to the stadium to watch.

And hopefully Fleck buggers off or has little to no influence on Dobson.

Varsity Cup is going to be a different competition next year. No more CC u19 means more schoolboy talent will go the uni way.

Any players with confirmed Stormers contracts for next year?

None are showing on the player transfer wiki page

@rugby365com can reveal that talented young utility forward Cobus Wiese is in advanced negotiations with Premiership giants Saracens to sign a five-year deal with the European champions – which would see him qualify to play for England.

His imminent departure comes at a time when Stormers management is struggling with dwindling cash resources and ongoing boardroom battles.

The 22-years-old giant, who is 197 centimetres and over 100 kilogrammes, has been a regular in the Stormers and Western Province teams for the last two years.

The deal seems set to go ahead, despite the salary cap saga that has enveloped the London outfit in recent weeks.

His departure will be the latest in a mass exodus of top stars – which includes World Cup-winning Springboks Eben Etzebeth (to Toulon in France) and Damian de Allende (to Wild Knights in Japan), as well as Dan Kriel (Lions), Corné Fourie (Gloucester, England), Sikhumbuzo Notshe (Sharks), Michael Kumbirai (Sharks), Chris Massyn (Cheetahs), Kobus van Dyk (Eagles, Japan), Craig Barry (Cheetahs) and EW Viljoen (Leicester Tigers, England).

 They are paying hefty penalties for poaching and paying to much.

The only real loss from that list is Eben.

Agreed. I am really upset about Cobus Wiese and Michale Kumbarai. They are still young and could have given us years of service. I have always felt Wiese would go on to be a Bok. We are going to have to rely on some of the young talent coming through this year.

We have the two best THs in SA Frans Malherbe and Wilco Louw. Lots of Flanker/lock types like Wiese in PSdT & Ernst van Rhyn.

The Stormers don't do play-offs. And when they do, they don't win them.

You also said the same thing about the Bokke for the WC and had to eat humble pie. Pasop Boetie.

I hate to admit it, but I think the Stormers will have the best pack in the SA conference. (Kitshoff, Bongi, Malherbe, Schickerling, PSDT, Kolisi, etc).

But it's looking really dire in the backs.

With those forwards its just going to be bash , bash , bash and looking for scrum penalties.....I rather fancy picking them in the loose ........

I hate to admit it, but I think the Stormers will have the best pack in the SA conference. (Kitshoff, Bongi, Malherbe, Schickerling, PSDT, Kolisi, etc).

But it's looking really dire in the backs.

More than enough there to comfortably top the SA conference. I see no posts from the Lions, Bulls and saarks posters for a flounce bet?

DDE will return in May to play S15

That's ambitious of him considering the quarter finals start then?

The Stormers don't do play-offs. And when they do, they don't win them.

You also said the same thing about the Bokke for the WC and had to eat humble pie. Pasop Boetie.

The Stormers will top the SA conference in 2020. Here. First.

Well they have the strongest squad by a mile
