Congrats france

As mentioned before, England vs argentina will be a blast. Argentina desperate for a win, essentially a knock out game for them. Looking forward to that

It's a studio - in West London.

Enjoyed this game.

It's been a great day of rugby. The Japanese timezones are so sweet for AEST. Been watching since 2.30pm.

I was backing Argentina, Gardner really wasn't that bad.

Argentina started very nervous and that first half costed the game.

Yeah, some credit to France too though, heck of a first half from them.

Gutted Argentina lost, was on my knees in front of the TV for that Boffelli kick, pure drama. I can only imagine how excruciating it was for you guys.

French tries were superb but off side law was not part of today’s game.

We prevailed on the scrums, lines, mauls but rucks were decided by an agnostic ref.

But we gifted the first half and France won it there.

Feel sorry for my Argies friends, because France were on the verge of imploding in the second half (Penaud, Fickou stupid mistakes for example) and a yellow would have burried them I am sure. The yellow was warranted. In addition, the last turn-over by France was shocking with the tackler slowing the ball and blocking access to the scrummie...

That ref was very poor, I can't believe he is allowed to ref at this level. He didn't bother refereing the breakdown, had not interest in straight throws at the lineout and allowed the Pumas to push before the ball was introduced at scrum time... Overall, I think the Pumas came worse than the French from his refereeing but still, both sides have good reasons to complain.

That being said, the first half by France was amazing, and I guess this was enough for tonight. They remain the team they have been for the last four years, they can do nice things for 20min, but as soon as they are under pressure, they start becoming plain stupid. Our pack has been missing all night too... Very worrying. Apart from Ollivon and Vahaamahina, the rest of the front 8 were poor.

Now, Argentina still have secured a bonus point which could matter with (1) France well capable of losing a game to Tonga or the USA and (2) Argentina still capable of shocking England in a game that will be a KO game for them.

Bonus points could make a difference in this pool, so both France and Argentina would be well advised to take the full tally against the minnows of the group...

Good luck Argentina, would hate to see you victims of this.

Happy for France though, who have been shit for 5 years but have put themselves in an ideal position to progress... If they don't become too cocky...

Hope that final brawl doesn't cost either side a few suspensions... Stupid from both teams...
