Actually some of the boks fans are cunts FYI. Just thempaddyor wrote:So gutted, Shite way for Besty to bow out. Been stuffing my face with Kobe beef for the past hour. It doesn’t really help. Fair dues to the kiwi fans( and the rest) here, been good winners to a man and good craic before too This place is really different to the real world. Though I should add I haven’t read the match thread. The spite is really just this place.

Ireland were absolute muck. A team carrying the zombie facsimiles of good players. Phantom versions of Murray, Sexton, Stander, Kearney, O'Mahony, et al. This has been coming for over a year now.
Things looked bad in the 6N, looked worse when England annihilated them in the warm-up, and dreadful when Japan embarrassed them.

So - we've looked at them too.The All Blacks will have shown their hand a bit now and England will at least have a bit of time to prepare for a different style
I do unfortunately. Sefton was a shadow of the man who led the Lions around the park. Too many unforced errors. Poor kicks into acres of space, poor kick chase (when England put the ball up against Oz there'd be 3 white shirts arriving with the ball), never able to get any width in attack, inability to take advantage of the errors the ABs did make. That try at the end with Jordie in all that space... when Ireland had the extra man? There will be sterner tests for the ABs.Dark wrote:Don't think Ireland were that bad.
They were just massively one dimensional and had no plan B
Sefton couldn’t lead a dog around the park, let alone the Lions.Flockwitt wrote:I do unfortunately. Sefton was a shadow of the man who led the Lions around the park. Too many unforced errors. England put 57 points on virtually the same Ireland side only a couple of months ago.BlueThunder wrote:This is the thing I kind of don't like about the world cup and feel for Schmidt and Ireland, the All Black forwards played more direct than they have in four years. If you're Schmidt how they hell are you meant to prepare for something you haven't seen in four years? Ireland looked rocked by the AB forwards punching hard and making big metres close to the ruck early on and when they did have the ball the All Blacks rushed out of the line to make spot tackles which they haven't really done for a couple of years either. Once the All Blacks got out to an early lead it looked game over mentally for Ireland, clearly the game plan they had was not going to work and they had no plan B.
The All Blacks will have shown their hand a bit now and England will at least have a bit of time to prepare for a different style but then Hansen might change it up yet again.

Does Sexton autocorrect to Sefton on your phone?

Was a well taken try, hardly “soft”.Couch wrote:Koroibete ran around them like a grown up does against kidsnaki wrote:Did they?Couch wrote:England let in a few soft tries
We were dire, FOG and only scored becsuse you had already won. On the two occasions we did score, you replied in kind, with very little effort. I'm sure the pints were delicious. CongratsFat Old Git wrote:Watched this in the pub last night. Probably had a pint or two more than I should have so I'm a bit slow this morning.
Commiserations Ireland, but what a game. While I was reasonably confident that we were more likely to win than not, I was not expecting that at all. Ireland looked shell shocked 10 minutes in and never really recovered. Although credit where credit is due, they kept trying to get back into the game, or to at least selvage some pride towards the end.
As an All Black fan I endured 24 years of world cup disappointment, so have some idea of what you may be experiencing. The sun comes up the following day and you realize that life is still pretty good and that rugby is just a game.
England certainly scored a couple.naki wrote:Did they?Couch wrote:England let in a few soft tries

Cheers Chins. The pints were indeed delicious. They had the Cassels milk stout on tap which seemed a fitting drop for the occasion.18ChinsOfChinatown wrote:We were dire, FOG and only scored becsuse you had already won.
