Thats very generous odds for a team that has beaten us 5 of the last 6. Might be worth a consolation punt on Wales...

Nah, both sides deserve to be there.

Wales topped their pool and have beaten the Wallabies and France to get there, which is more than SA.

Boks have over performed already, even at the start of this year getting past the quarters looked 50/50. They've improved so much so rapidly it's hard to judge where they're at. Could lose this by more than a score, could win comfortably.

It's clear the Bok game plan has to be based around forward power though. Didn't expect France to trouble Wales as much as they did.

We’ve made the Boks our bitches for a few years now, can’t see that changing this weekend. Wales to finally perform for 80 mins in this tournament and win by 6.

The Boks probably was fortunate not to face Ireland in the QF but given how the Irish folded against the ABs the Boks might still have won

But you're right, it's difficult to gauge where they are or whether they can really adjust their game when the forwards don't dominate

Well Gareth Van Onselen predicted that the Namibians would upset us in the pool stages, so no surprise in his analysis

Agree with Ox, Boks are lucky to be in the semi final. Wales have the experience BMT players to knock us over. Wales by 13.

The Irish have looked awful in every game after the Scottish match. Just didn't look fit, they obviously were fit, so whatever their conditioning was aiming at it didn't work. They were walking at the end of games, taking the ball standing still, waiting for defenders to run onto them. It ended up that Ireland would've been the weaker opponent.

All the noise that came from their media about SA didn't make sense. Being able to run at the end of a match, doesn't mean you're on drugs. It's not even a big SA side, the smallest player in the Bok 2007 pack was Schalk officially he was about 107kg then, off the top of my head Kolisi/Mostert/Bongi are all smaller.

I never said that though did I. Where did I post this? You know you've been trolled don't you.

I said the Boks would beat Japan 35-10. That's something I did actually post. It was close enough, bit less scoring than I thought it would be.

Nipper, the Gareth van Onselen jokes "works" on SA threads with a couple of posters maybe. If does work, no one is saying so.

All it does on a thread like this, is fudge it up for everyone.

Welsh if they care at all, are now going to look up who that character is, and basically think "meh, nothing spectacular there". I give my honest views on stuff, politics, and whatever else. I know that's rare enough in SA that you can identify someone in the media that does too, and then call me that person like it's an insult (it's not an insult). But this will not seem strange to Welsh people.

I think there was a single post from the back end of 2018, nowhere did it say Nam would win. Then some people that dislike me for my views, made stuff up.

For the record Nam scored as much against the Boks as Italy and Japan did, Canada scored a try, but the ref was just being kind to them there was a clear obstruction.

... You see this is how it works. Because you dislike me, that above sentence will now get to you.

If NZ wins, we win I reckon.
If England wins, Wales will fancy their chances in the final and play above their station against us

I would say that the result of the other game has no bearing on the result of this game.
