South Africa can't rely on power to beat Eng because Eng are more powerful, so SA do you have the courage to play?

Extra time win for Boks.

No disrespect to SA.....but if England play at the same level they did in the semi....this is going to be one of the most one sided finals in the history of the cup.

This could be a 25+ difference easily.

SA have just the kind of game to cause England problems (as do Wales) - its going to be a very tough final.

Not sure about that. The Boks will also have 6 forwards on the bench.

fair play to Chris Robshaw, he called it before the World Cup even started:
04 Sept 2019

Chris Robshaw fancies England or South Africa to win the Rugby World Cup title ahead of the All Blacks.

The Harlequins flanker, who captained England in an ill-fated 2015 World Cup campaign, told The Guardian this week: "I think it will be between England and South Africa."

He said he All Blacks would be "thereabouts, but I like the look of England and South Africa.

Don't forget that the Boks had the better of all but 10 mins of the All Blacks game this will be a good contest. And won't turn into what we just saw.

England are massive favourites and it will be the chokiest RWC choke ever (even higher than ABs 2007) if they don't win.

We're just pleased to have made it this far.

England by 15.

There won't be much in it - one score either way.

Famous claims in 2007 that everyone said England were going to lose by plenty.
Yes England looked impressive, but its a new game with a different set of challenges.

Just a week ago everyone thought England will struggle to live with the AB's

Tend to agree. And I’m not even sure it’s going to be England on top at the end either.
Sure they are rightly favourites, but can’t see them putting another flawless display two weeks in a row.

That's why I qualified it with 'if they play at the same level'.

I'm going for England. Saffers are a very average team. England would be worthy world cup winners.

Not sure they have the backs to do it. I rate England backline higher than Saffers. This is a complete England team but who knows, upsets can happen.

I feel yesterday's game should have been the final. Easily the 2 best teams in the world right now.

England selection for this game is going to again be fascinating - do they beef up the backline like they did vs Australia to counter DDA + Am, or go with the lighter trio of Ford-Farrell-Tuilagi? stick with Lawes at lock or bring in Kruis to counter the South Africans who have basically 4.5 lineout jumpers in their pack?

Yeah reckon it will be closer than people think but I still don't see SA beating England if England play well.

Yeah but, also according to them; AWJ invented the second row and is immortal, so...

Boks by 3

ABs had 4.5 jumpers, didn't they? I prefer Kruis, but would probably stick with this AB-beating formula.

maybe depends if the Boks switch up their team at all too - they might be worried at what Curry + Undertaker did vs NZ at the breakdown and bring in someone to beef up the breakdown a bit (Louw or Marx)

Excellent. Making the opposition change their winning backrow has worked out for us so far.

I also think Kruis is a better player than Lawes. But it would be a mistake to make too many changes. Yesterday's team was just brilliant.

England would be crazy to change that team, other than potential injuries etc.

I do not believe they are crazy.
