Squidge's review of the final.

Ben Youngs gets an absolute kicking
That's very good
Dan Cole, the only man slower than the inanimate object he's named after

I loved the bit when he described how Ben Youngs managed to completely outfox the Springboks Defence by doing something that nobody is South Africa will ever see coming!

Also highlighted the role that Faf and PSDT play in the defence
Quite enjoyed that analysis.
Yep thanks for posting that - very astute and entertaining analysis

More sour grapes from England. Nothing stopping them developing their own bomb squad
"My only reservation is that it would be an even better sport if the bench was reduced in number. Half a team coming on with fresh legs and sharp minds against guys, who have been taken to the point of exhaustion, is pushing the game out of the realms of normality."

Wayne Smith said he enjoyed watching how the Boks sucked England into their plot.

Apparently Faf and Jantjies spent half an hour in the pre game warm up practising box kicking, watched by the English coaches.

Then they hardly box kicked at all, and ran the ball.

Most likely in school.

His analysis is incredible. He sees things lots of other professional pundits don't pick up on. Check out some of his analysis for games before the RWC, especially the Boks.

I was about to get very annoyed when he mentioned the coin toss - not this stupid shit again - but then immediately referred to England's preference for kicking off and working through slick attacking moves for early scores. Nice work.

 Rassie sucked in everybody.

John Mitchell was watching the semi (Bok vs Wallis)with Jones but disappear in the final. He is suppose to be the expert on Springbok rugby.

Cant bring myself to watch it yet.

He is a good analyst but cant help thinking its 30 minutes of gleeful a Welshman telling me how shit England were.
It's not, he actually praises how well England played through the tournament and is actually confused as to why they made so many mistakes in the final. The best line though was when George threw a bad pass and he said "He can't help being a front rower, throwing passes like he's plays scrum half for England"

That was quite entertaining, the way he does his analysis.
I love the line right in the beginning: "Some of the smartest coaches to ever be involved in the game, and Michael Cheicka"
Forgot about that one

The bit where he talks about Youngs' pass to no one into touch when they had a 2-on-1 made me bust out laughing.

Most likely in school.

His analysis is incredible. He sees things lots of other professional pundits don't pick up on. Check out some of his analysis for games before the RWC, especially the Boks.

Agreed, but I sometimes wonder if he doesn't read too much into some plays / moves / tactics.

While I think a lot of what he sees and analyses is valid, I think sometimes things "just happen" and then he'll attribute it to some master stroke by a coach/player that played out perfectly. Either way, I really enjoy his videos.

He must have gone down the k-hole during the world cup. A total overdose of rugby.

But would love to see him get picked up by one of the major broadcasters. Such an enlightening change to the usual stuffy analysis we've become so used to.

Well of course stuff just happens, but "stuff just happening" can create overloads or opportunities to score. The phases of play before the 1st South African try is a great example where he highlights Watson being out of position next to the ruck and Joe Marler forced to cover wing.
