Started playing on Funbridge, but it’s not cheap after first 50 free hands.
If you just want to play on your own use IBridge £10 for limitless hands.

For 4 of us to play we are using Trickster Cards it’s very good and free there is another one called Bridge barn that does duplicate.
Tried out Trickster and it works very well. Can also play against the computer which is handy.

Maybe I overreacted, but when I work mostly for about 10-12 guys who have buried themselves in building up good, ethical businesses over the last decade and then see approx 50% of them go down the drain, with the other half just creeping through this it fúcking grates. This industry is not going to invest for quite a while.

Then I have people like rodney telling me how lucky I am to be paid to sit on my arse for 3 months and you proclaiming that it's 'cool'.

I am glad you're okay, but seriously, keep that to yourself right now. Unless you can lend me £300k and a lawnmower.

In a nightly curfew. Thousands of km from the family. Expect to see them in 3 - 6 months if lucky. I cannot imagine anything better then being wth family at the moment. If anything happens I will be unable to go home. Doing push ups, crunches etc. I hate them after a lifetime of exercise, my body simply has no interest in it, but I crack on. In lockdown in a compound so at least I can walk about but not allowed to mix. Thank god for the internet. Decided to learn Spanish, because why not.

I understand this is going to adversely affect a lot of people(my wife is self employed) but other than volunteer there isn’t much I can do. I don’t know what London is like but in the country it is almost as though it could be a big spoof the only difference is no traffic coming up our lane.

Seneca of the Night wrote:Article here in the Telegraph on people perhaps not enjoying the lockdown too much:
Spoiler: show
It seemed like a good idea at the time. While the unfortunate residents of crowded, cold, decrepit old Britain grappled with the coronavirus crisis at home, what better way to avoid the last of winter than to simply extend one’s holiday with a few more weeks of budget oblivion in Peru, India or Thailand?

How quickly things can change. With strict border closures and lockdowns now in place in travel destinations from Goa to Cusco, these same carefree Brits are finding that without those sultry nights at the beach, bar or even hotel swimming pool, their confinement is less than desirable. At risk of being thrown out or worse, they are now scrambling to be repatriated to their homeland – even though their “rescue” will involve a huge and costly diplomatic and logistical effort.

Of the 923 members of the Facebook group "Brits stranded in India", some were simply unlucky. Having been in India since January, Hannah Moss and her partner Al Nicholson, from Brighton, had their flight to Sri Lanka cancelled earlier this month, just before the country closed its borders, suspended tourist visas and closed its airports to all passenger flights.

Unable to get through to their airline or travel insurer on the phone and frightened by the grim pictures from back home, the couple made the decision that Anjuna, Goa, would be an uncrowded place to while away the end of their trip. Having made their way there from Agra, they rented an apartment only to realise a few days later that the whole country was going into complete lockdown.

Now surviving on packet food and virtual prisoners in their apartment, Moss admits that "the holiday is definitely over" and describes being “in sunny Goa but not allowed outside the building, being within walking distance of the beach but not allowed in the sea, being so close to so many lovely eateries but with the shutters firmly down” as “a new form of water torture.”

Currently eating a diet of plain rice, bread, dal and poppadoms, Moss says the couple have no fresh food and are in danger of running out completely, with local shops closed and venturing outside meaning they risk being "beaten with bamboo poles by the police".

While the couple theoretically have a roof over their heads until April 21, they say that instead of organising a plan to get them home, the British Embassy has hung up the phone on them. Nicholson said: “Hundreds of British citizens are stranded in India, which is now on a 21-day lockdown. Many of us have food to last about one week week but some have none and are being kicked out of accommodations on a daily basis.

"The mood is changing here. We feel completely deserted by our government at this time of need. We are not being allowed out for exercise, to buy groceries and the information we are getting is at best sketchy and inconsistent. All transport and flights in and out of India are apparently on hold, although Germany and Israel are already planning on getting their citizens home.”

For its part, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London, which only ordered Britons abroad to return to the UK on March 23, the day before the India lockdown was announced, has advised that although it is “working with the Indian authorities and airlines to support British nationals who want to return to the UK” and has advised travellers to email the British High Commission in Delhi with their details, for now, they have no option but to abide by local rules and regulations.

“If you are a British national in India, you should be prepared to stay in the country until commercial flights resume,” its blunt advice states. “You will need to be ready to comply with local isolation, testing or quarantine requirements, and to rely on the local health system.”

Online petitions plead for signatures to demand that the UK government evacuates British tourists from Bali, while travellers in Cusco, some of whom declined earlier flights back to Britain on the grounds of cost and gloated about extending their stays in Latin America, are now also weighing their mistake, and face a strict indoor lockdown of up to 90 days.

While an airlift of some of the most vulnerable Britons took place on Wednesday, hundreds more are clamouring to return home, with backpackers at the Pariwana hostel complaining that they are “not sure how we’ll cope with being confined to our rooms for the next three months for 23 hours a day.”

While the government will no doubt have to cave in to pressure, some might say this misses an opportunity to teach people some of travel's most precious lessons. Accept the consequences of your decisions, live as the locals do, cope with adversity, survive in the absence of a safety net, be self-sufficient, learn stoicism, and appreciate what you have at home.

Thought? Are these people authors of their own demise? I can't see what the Foreign Office can do really.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/comm ... us-travel/
There will be a few genuine cases but most people are just stupid twats, this hadn’t sprung up out of nowhere we have had at least 3 weeks -1 month to know this was coming, they had plenty of opportunities to get home. They have left it to the 11th hour and expect the govt to send a private jet for them.

Possibly because it was set up by enthusiasts more interested in functionality than looks.
Its been a while since I was there, maybe 8-9 years. It has improved because back then the site still looked 20th century.

And then I go shopping. Mandurah is divided between the gentrified seaside and crack city over the train lines. The main shopping complex serves both populations. There I see actual zombies. Every second person has a forked beard, and that's just the women. I have to go there because there's no food in my local supermarket. Strange times. Yesterday I started to cough in an Uber. I willed myself to stop, to not frighten the driver. Of course that only made me want to cough more. I was holding it in, turning bright red. The driver asked if I was okay. I said let me out here. It was the fastest I've seen an Uber respond. Time to dust off the pushbike.

It's times like these when there's something to be said for living on the edge of the world.

Trying the make the best of it. Enjoyed the good weather - got outside and worked on a few projects. Got some inside projects lined up for when the weather turns crap.

Really missing seeing my family, especially the Grandkids - and couldn't even go and see my daughter today on her Birthday, or my Mum on Mother's Day. Have ordered a new 2nd gen 10" Echo Show to make video calls a better experience.

Been isolating for 3 weeks and still have a minimum of 11 weeks of strict Lockdown to go - but, compared to many we've got it pretty cushy - so we're lucky. Still sucks though.
