His wife wrote an article based on him in a political publication.

His Barnard Castle story was great.

We know Barry Gardiner did, where’s the outrage.
I dunno, was it a law, a guideline, or was he just using good old British common sense?
None of that information mattered with Cummings. Where’s the outrage?
You mean you don't suspect there’s a good reason beyond what is known and this will backfire on the attackers.

OK
Is there any other times that her actions should demand I resign from my job, whilst in the meantime I refuse to apologise for breaking rules/law/guidance/common sense by driving during a lockdown to "test my eyesight" and thus effecting the governments containment strategy

I'd like to know why he should resign because of what his wife wrote, does he have editorial control?

I like the way her lies are unrelated to his lies and that her lies, being on paper and all, are much worse than this lies to the press.

Mary may well have to consider her position at that publication.

Particularly if her transgression is serious enough to warrant the removal of her husband from his.

You’d think. If you were logical.

Yes. Though since the first week or so, I do't think Boris or Starmer have looked good at PMQT. Starmer is a robot and Boris answers very little. I genuinely think the format is out dated, pointless for the most part and is now just a show that ultra partisan political followers who won't change their views to believe their side wins.

No. The Mail is repeating the same claim with the same inbuilt inaccuracies.

Different countries count in different ways - for example the Spanish figure is only reporting deaths from the last 2 days or so. Any deaths registered that occurred more than a couple of days ago are being ignored at the moment. The UK figure is including deaths over a much longer time period. The figures are not comparable.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

Yesterday's "official" figures:

Total deaths in Europe: 888
Deaths in the UK: 359
Deaths in Russia: 178
All other Countries: 351

Can't be arsed working out the EU27 total, but it's going to be less than the UK.

However... we know the Spanish figures have gone a bit dodgy lately so the true EU27 figure would higher than the UK.

These are the "official" figures that we've been debating right throughout this crisis.

Stop being disingenous Bimbo. UK's 550 was deaths with a positive Covid test result. Spain's 12000 was excess deaths and, like the UK, is not in the headline figure for Covid deaths.

The 550 was across 30 days of deaths and more detailed than most countries, thanks for pointing out the retrospective detail the UK is reaching to.

Btw, I think the Spanish deaths were counted as covid (it didn’t include road deaths did it?)

I can only imagine the depth of frustration and anger when this seems the best course of action:

https://www.theguardian.com/society/202 ... e-covid-19

NHS registrar resigns over Cummings' lack of contrition and lack of any ramification to his actions. I think it's bit broader than that, but not a good situation all the same.

I'd rather the usual suspects don't respond with claims of virtue signalling or whatever phraseology is du jour, thanks all the same.

His profession is Doctor. Your rather bizarre assertion is he's a socialist activist, based solely on the fact he appears to have reached the end of his tether with a bodged government response to something he's fighting every working day, and he's unsurprisingly not that happy about it.

I asked you to kindly not make silly accusations, but it appears you simply can't help yourself.

I'll begrudgingly admit, I'm sightly impressed by the creativity of your sophistry. Are you by any chance related to Dominic Cummings?
