A majority won't care. Unfortunately, there has been a complete americanisation of English politics. Like America, politics in England is now treated as a sport where "my team" is always right and "your team" is always wrong.
Yip. Surely no one can think that only one side is 100% good and the other is 100% wrong. Allthough Exhibit A on this fred does like to keep digging.

He said he's taking questions which suggests he's not going anywhere (except maybe Durham again)

He's got half the press breaking lockdown on his doorstep. Boris could hardly mention the health of his employees child, could he?

Or else, as Anon says, the police have hard evidence about the passer-by at the castle and he's going to apologise for lying to Boris, and offer his immediate resignation.

He could try the audience engagement approach, "and where do you think I'm going on holiday this year?....." raises hands to crowd.

Anyway, what time's he on. I want to make sure all my family are sat down with the bank holiday dinner so we can listen to the Cumms Speech and then raise a toast to him.

They could have mentioned the health of the child. They could have said we're worried parents we're sorry for breaking the rules.

The changing the rules and making exceptions is the problem. They just needed to apologise but they didn't.

Also the wife's spectator article and radio appearance missed their trip to Durham so they know it's wrong.

Vaughan Gething really did break the law about two days after he urged all the Welsh to stay at home etc. Didn't see you venting your spleen at that time?

Haven't seen anyone defend Vaughan Gething on here though?

The condemnation is the same - it's just that Cummings has a higher profile

You appear to be happy to use a child as a human shield though...

If Cummings cared for his child and family, why did he all-but ensure that his son would become sick by putting him in an enclosed space with a sick person for 5 hours? Additionally, after ensuring that his son was exposed to the virus, why did he choose to then use his child to transfer the virus to his elderly parents?

In too pissed now. Can you go back about half a day? Sure I answered you already.

Children don't get the virus as bad as adults. The child stayed isolated with him and his wife, there was no need for the sister and niece to look after him. But they weren't aware of that when they travelled.

If his child has a condition in many ways it only makes it worse. I'd expect someone in Cummings' position to have a plan ahead of time about what they'd do given certain conditions, and if someone in the family has an increased dependency that only highlights still further a failure to have a sensible course of action in ready to be enacted.

Whether one likes Cummings or not is irrelevant giving his failings in driving 'cross country, but as an aside I continue to be amused he can't forecast his way out of a wet paper bag despite his admiration of super forecasting.

I’ve demonstrated no such happiness. It’s very very clear he wasn’t with his parents.

I’ve just said maybe there’s a condition that the child has, could be wrong we don’t know.

We don’t even know if there’s a condition, it would make no odd to you though. Somehow you justify your view regarding the child due to your view of his father politics, once again demonstrating the “moral” left are no such thing.

LEO VARADKAR has denied any breach of Ireland’s COVID-19 restrictions after pictures surfaced on social media of the Taoiseach meeting up with friends in Phoenix Park.

Mr. Varadkar was photographed enjoying the sunshine with his partner Matthew Barrett and two other friends in the popular Dublin Park.

Gardai can be seen walking near Mr. Varadkar’s group but do not appear to have been deployed to assist or support the Taoiseach in any way.

The images, which were captured this past Sunday afternoon, have sparked debate online over whether the Taoiseach is in breach of the social distancing rules in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Under the government rules, groups of four are permitted to meet outside.

However, they are restricted from travelling further than 5km from their homes and groups must remain two metres apart from anyone they are not currently residing with.

Phoenix Park is roughly eight kilometres from Mr. Varadkar’s apartment on Carpenterstown Road in the Dublin West constituency.
