They could have mentioned the health of the child. They could have said we're worried parents we're sorry for breaking the rules.

The changing the rules and making exceptions is the problem. They just needed to apologise but they didn't.

Also the wife's spectator article and radio appearance missed their trip to Durham so they know it's wrong.

If Cummings cared for his child and family, why did he all-but ensure that his son would become sick by putting him in an enclosed space with a sick person for 5 hours? Additionally, after ensuring that his son was exposed to the virus, why did he choose to then use his child to transfer the virus to his elderly parents?

I’ve demonstrated no such happiness. It’s very very clear he wasn’t with his parents.

I’ve just said maybe there’s a condition that the child has, could be wrong we don’t know.

If they are press they are not breaking lockdown

LEO VARADKAR has denied any breach of Ireland’s COVID-19 restrictions after pictures surfaced on social media of the Taoiseach meeting up with friends in Phoenix Park.

Mr. Varadkar was photographed enjoying the sunshine with his partner Matthew Barrett and two other friends in the popular Dublin Park.

Gardai can be seen walking near Mr. Varadkar’s group but do not appear to have been deployed to assist or support the Taoiseach in any way.

The images, which were captured this past Sunday afternoon, have sparked debate online over whether the Taoiseach is in breach of the social distancing rules in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Under the government rules, groups of four are permitted to meet outside.

However, they are restricted from travelling further than 5km from their homes and groups must remain two metres apart from anyone they are not currently residing with.

Phoenix Park is roughly eight kilometres from Mr. Varadkar’s apartment on Carpenterstown Road in the Dublin West constituency.
