On my list of things to do.
Re: Anyone else cancelled their sports subscription? ..
Thought about cancelling Optus Sport as the EPL is on pause, but there’s some decent classic stuff on it and I might be thrashing it if works gets stopped.

Paused Sky, but can still get the channels. Very good customer service from Sky. Can't cancel BT as they provide my broadband. Payed for Premier upfront for a year!

I cancelled SKY at the start of the month with the intention to sign up with BT. Won't have either now but obviously won't be missing out.massive_field_goal wrote:and the economic contraction begins....

Yep, cancelled a couple of weeks ago. Nothing to watch and a lot of the sports on YT are showing classic games so if I need some sport I can just watch them.

Yep likewise kiwi, I dropped my sports from Fox, well a lot of others to, will get kayo when rugby returns, if they show it.kiwinoz wrote:Cancelled Kayo. No rugby no me.

Still keeping with Sky Sports Now until it runs out in April. (They have given me three free months on Neon tv.)
Spark Sports is free for all New Zealanders right now.

I’m keeping on trucking. I can afford to at the moment and I think everyone needs to play their part, should they be able to. I’ll do the same for the hairdresser should the lockdown continue for x amount of weeks.massive_field_goal wrote:and the economic contraction begins....

If I had a sports-only package in the U.S. I would have. Everyone are showing sports events from 5 years ago to fill the time. Even the networks where they previously had sports in.

It will be interesting to see if the pubs that are shut keep theirs.

Probably the most relevant thread to post, but I see RugbyPass have made their service free until the end of April

Re: Anyone else cancelled their sports subscription? ..
Hadn't even thought to cancel tbh. I guess cancelling sport would be a good idea right now since there's nothing but replays on. I would retain the rest of the channels though. My wife and I are both still working from home so don't have endless hours to kill watching sports replays like some might.jambanja wrote:I'm still going too, they've chucked in free movies now as wellmr bungle wrote:I’m keeping on trucking.
