Anybody into Crypto
For any of you that are into crypto have you heard of Digitex?
Re: Anybody into Crypto
Good luckThe Digitex Futures Exchange is a trading platform where traders can buy and sell futures contracts on various cryptocurrencies, commodities and financial instruments. Traders win and lose DGTX tokens. Traders must have a balance of DGTX to place trades which creates demand for DGTX. There are zero transaction fees on all trades. Zero-fee trading attracts highly active, ultra-short term traders who create highly liquid markets using strategies not viable on fee charging exchanges. Large tick sizes level the playing field between human traders and bots.

Oh shit, I thought this was about Diffie–Hellman key exchange but it's more fcuking Bitcoin.
Re: Anybody into Crypto
Crypto is interesting. Cryptocurrency isn't.6.Jones wrote:Oh shit, I thought this was about Diffie–Hellman key exchange but it's more fcuking Bitcoin.
Several former colleagues went to a blockchain startup a couple of years ago. I told them it was all bullshit and had no obvious use cases outside of bitcoin. They were all gone within 9 months.
P.S. I used to work with Whit Diffie (for a broad interpretation of work)

You can smell my jalopy! I similarly got involved with a blockchain startup but we stuck, by focusing on industrial processes.dinsdale wrote:Crypto is interesting. Cryptocurrency isn't.6.Jones wrote:Oh shit, I thought this was about Diffie–Hellman key exchange but it's more fcuking Bitcoin.

Any chance it will revive?
I’ve got an old boss of mine now 60 staff into a tokenisation project. I am worried.
Re: Anybody into Crypto
Interesting question. Blockchain for industry [without tokens] is a work in progress. It had the wind taken out of its sails by the currency swings but that's an emotional roadblock. It's the best data store for immutable data. By using blockchain, a data owner can make their case in court using the laws of mathematics.bimboman wrote:Any chance it will revive?

On currencies, bimbo I have frankly no idea. Digital currencies are the future of money but the current landscape is a mess. I wouldn't bet on it either way. My expectation is that a better cryptocurrency will emerge that makes the others obsolete, except as fungible tokens in transactions like carbon trading.
Re: Anybody into Crypto
Sell it at 17,000 then. Either way this squeeze Is based on boarding up America’s high street. When Biden win the big guys will sell off again.

I find it chaffs my undercarriage.....
Re: Anybody into Crypto
I’m sure those that care are aware BTC has comfortably passed its ATH and is close to 21k. Next year should be interesting.
Re: Anybody into Crypto
Strange comment.
Re: Anybody into Crypto
I was very sceptical during the last peak a few years back but am more convinced now. Bought in about 5 weeks back. Up 30%. Would be more if I hadn't over traded switching between coins
Re: Anybody into Crypto
PayPal have been buying up big.

Yes I do and yes there are. Your post was vague and could have been interpreted in various ways given his history.

Re: Anybody into Crypto
There is a lot of smoke and mirrors in crypto. Bitcoin isn't smoke and mirrors though.massive_field_goal wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 10:29 am mostly smoke and mirrors

Re: Anybody into Crypto
Tether don't even try and pretend they aren't a scam. 20bn market, 60bn volume of trades in a day, so every coin moved three times on average. Nuts. Just Btc and a small bit of ETH for me. Some aave or yearn occasionally when they are on a run
Re: Anybody into Crypto
I need bitcoin to stop going up so I dont have to spend the rest of my life ruing the fact that I'm a massive pussy.

Bitcoin gone through the roof, 28300 Usd. No sign of slowing down. ETH meanwhile doing sweet FA, unfortunately that's where more of my money is

Re: Anybody into Crypto
I don't give a flying fook if its organic. We are on a gold rush. I can afford to lose the money if it does go tits up. However I don't think I can afford to miss the boat if it keeps going which I think it will
Re: Anybody into Crypto
I've no Xrp. Looking at Link though
Re: Anybody into Crypto
You were saying the same thing 3 years ago. This is institutional investment, FOMO from the public will kick in again within the next 6-18 months.
You sound like the Irish crying over Australian real estate.
