Confinement crew cuts

Post by Keith »

So... who has had a home haircut since lockdown?

I was already overdue one before lockdown and now 4 weeks later (we've done 1 week longer than most in the UK) I look like one of The Beatles. The clippers and proper scissors arrive this week. I just need to get the wife an NVQ in haircutting in the next week.

The other half gave mine a cut the other day. She left a little bald patch  but wasn’t too bad!

Mrs did mine last weekend with a set of clippers we managed to get hold of. Actually made a decent job of it and may give her the job permanently when this is all over.

I made her practice on our son first to get her eye in.

Usually cut my own.

Gone to a no. 2 for the lick down, growing a beard for the first time in 35 years.

The boss hates beards so will come off as soon as it bars nookie.

Mine stayed on for 3 weeks. She was ill for a week and half followed by the blob. Needless to say, as soon as nookie was mentioned, the old Gillette came out quick smart

Me, but I’ve been doing my own clippering for over twenty years. Went the blade-shaved route for a bit but it became tedious having to do it so regularly.

Hair is long anyway - cultivating a David Bellamy beard

Might shave it to a Colour Sergeant Bourne after the all-clear is announced:

No way in hell I'm letting inexperienced family members cut my hair.

I'd rather go retro and grow a bush on my head.

All the $15 barbers in my area have stayed open because Scotty from Marketing told them too, so not sure why you picked a $35 Salon.

Coz the guy I regularly go to was shut. And the salon was next to the supermarket.

I don't think I could bring myself to pay $35 for a haircut, I'm happily to let it grow out ... I had a mate that used to go to an expensive place all the time, his hair only looked slightly better than mine and the hairdresser dude convinced him to buy a new different hair product each time.

Hopefully your usual guy reopens soon!

I didnt realise the it was $35 until it popped up on my phone as I walked out. I didn't ask the price coz the young lady who did my hair was very nice. So I walked in got a hair cut and tapped the eftpos machine like I don't care, just like a BOSS. Didn't even say goodbye. At this point, I'd rather cut my dick off and eat it than run back and argue the price.

You know the extra $20 was risk premium, right? Salon workers take one look, note you look crazy, bump up price accordingly.

Mine's $30 on a week night, $35 on the weekend.

That's alright, Shirley? These are trained professionals, after all, and if you want something beyond a prison haircut you should blow the cobwebs out of your pocket and PAY THE FVCKING PRICE!

Fvcking little bitch with her innocent smile and hospitality, at the same time squeezing my nuts. Metaphorically of course, any real squeezing would cost me triple.

Did mine within a couple of days (and a few days before it apparently became a thing on t'internet)...not because I'm a trendsetter, but because I was desperately in need. Suffice to say, it wasn't a huge success. I'm extremely pale, and usually have a beard...so it meant I looked like a cancer suffering albino for a couple of days.

Not sure but I felt (imagined) every touch was her tits. She was wearing mask, headcover, apron and gloves whilst holding a sharp object. How did she know I liked ninja porn?

Confinement beard had to go too

Have used a clippers for the last 10 years as I became better at growing hair everywhere other than my head. :(( , so no change in habits for me. I did have a go at a beard though and was making a fair hand of it, so I thought, until Mrs L decided it made me look like a homeless old man. I do enjoy not having to shave every day though, but am missing not putting on proper clothes. The novelty of tracksuits, runners and t-shirts is beginning to wear off, although with the good weather have I’ve brought out the shorts.
