I've just heard from The Management to advise that Globby is still very poorly as he tries to shake the effects of his brush with Covid. I am trying to set up a chat over the next day or two so any words of wisdom will be passed on.

That's one hell of a virus for some by the look of it.
That is the issue with it for most people in is a minor infection - if they show symptoms at all, but for some individuals (related to age and health issues) it appears devastating..

Yikes all the best Globby.

And if you didn’t pick it up from someone like a Prince Charles (was he the van driver?) I’ll be disappointed.

And a little scary to hear the symptoms - my wife tested positive yesterday so a little nervous about what is coming.

Also for some relatively young previously fit and healthy people who show minor symptoms they can start to struggle months after recovery.
I think anyone who has had this virus should not be counting their chickens

Just got off the phone - still one tired fellow who hasn't been able to venture more than 40/50 metres from home for over 4 months.

Doesn't help that his good lady has been similarly afflicted.

He sends his thanks for your good wishes and will check in here later.

Sounds like the patio filling business may be under new management and branching out from the traditional Aunt market.

Good luck G, go easy on the Russian Caravan for a few weeks.

Hope its just a mild case, and somehow you don't get it.

Have heard some horror stories from so called 'young and healthy' mates. :(

Thank you so much for your well wishes.

Not been in a good way at all during the last few months. Covid-19 hit us badly plus other things.

Lovely to talk to Enz, whom I've been in touch with for years and years.

Take care everyone. These are strange times.

In other news, we are helping to move The Management and her husband up this way from London.

But the most important thing is that you all stay safe.

My best wishes.

Rumor going around Canada.....

The Russians snatched Globus when he was out evening walking his dog.... Rumor is the Russians drugged him and then flew him to a secret Russia Lab to work on a vaccine for Covid.

Not sure if true ... but if it is... Globus will have a hell of story to tell us.....

No, they took it well (a few grizzles about the kick retake but we would have too) and we were, to a man, humble in victory.

I bet it made the eventual victories so much sweeter.

Terrible booing from the Irish there, especially as they so much like to tell others to hush. Shameful.
