Guy Fawkes night gonnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee
Or at least in this age it should be.
UK public wants to get rid of it's slaver statues fair enough.
Surely an anti Catholic festival where effigies of a Catholic equality activist are burned should be consigned to history also.

Would gladly dump Guy Fawkes Night provided Trafalgar Day was brought back.
Re: Guy Fawkes night gonnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee
I like to host family and friends over for a BBQ, beers and some fireworks to ‘celebrate’ Guy Fawkes night. I’ll have an incinerator going too - handy for a bit of warmth on a cold Autumns evening!

Unthinkable ... getting rid of it would be like getting rid of an English institution like "John Craven's Newsround" ... unthinkable ...

Re: Guy Fawkes night gonnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee
It would be like threatening to pull down the statutes of Churchill and Nelson.
Completely counterproductive to the Woke Cause

Given the number of noxious waste incinerators there are in the UK, it is a marvel that madclarke, eldickheadfire and derpwyn have not exited the chimney as smoke before now.Duff Paddy wrote:You live next to a waste processing facility?Derwyn wrote:I like to host family and friends over for a BBQ, beers and some fireworks to ‘celebrate’ Guy Fawkes night.
