I have just turned on. What has happened to Cane? Head knock or neck?

Edit: I see he is up and looking ok .

KO. Chiefs been looking like they're in trouble the whole half. Doing well to hold it off but a loss seems inevitable here.

On a side note, the whole 'hip high tackles are safer for head injuries' always seemed like bollocks to me...and this is why.

Stevenson will leak tries all night. He is clueless in defence.

Stupid. A bunch of errors that'll end up closing the score on a dominant half.

Clueless. All the razzle has been coached out of them and they are dazzled

The Canes are too impatient and the forwards are watching too many of the rucks, especially when we have possession.

The Canes might have a comfortable lead in the Possession stakes, but not in territory, i.e. they are not putting enough pressure on the Chiefs and keeping it on when they do.

If he did he would have had 3 defenders on him. We had no numbers whatsoever there

Yes, all it does is put more defensive heads at same height and at a height where fast moving knees and strong hip bones reside.

Could have been a PK the other way. Jumping into a tackle is dangerous play.

Great reply from the Hurricanes.

As a aside, is Damien Mckenzie the most selfish player in world Rugby?

Jordie Barrett having a blinder as a playmaker.

The Chiefs are trying their guts out, but man their attack looks laboured. They lack any fluidity.
