Try to BPA. Reds 14 Rebels 3.

Jock Campbell making the point that FB and Wing may not be entirely interchangeable.

Really?

All Hosge has done is kick, and poorly. And Kellaway has been average at best. I thought Korobeite was doing pretty well.

Rebels look like they only met each other 2 weeks ago. Passes going to players not expecting it, the team not able to maintain a decent defensive line, etc.

Reds aren’t playing great. The difference has been Petaia.

First, would Shanky please take notes of when O'Conner does something good, for me to review later. Jury sill out.

Secondly, the Taipan's comments would be welcome, although not indispensable, in another place, with respect to the ERU financial results and how much they profit from exploiting the colonies' rugby teams.

Thirdly, if Blue 8 can't score form there, I want the other guy.

This reminds me of that World Cup game in 2015 against Wales where we had about 3 players left on the field but Wales just couldn’t break the defence despite 110% possession. There was just no imagination with the attack and just one off runners.

Great win by the Reds

Defence wins matches.

MOM: Tate McDermott - if there's a stronger pound-for-pound player going around, I’d want to know who he is.

Interesting game.

Reds D was great.

Rebs sloppy handling, not clinical enough.

I don't know about anyone else. But I thought that was an amazing half of football. Played at break neck speed and so, so, so damn physical.

Never expected the Rebels to win that but it was hot garbage.

Allergic to the tryline for the full 80.

Even when they rumbled it over in a maul at pace they somehow lost the ball.

No words.

My thoughts...

The Reds covering defence was excellent...

Koroibete and Naisarani both blew certain tries...

Petaia took a dive...

The refereeing was terrible...

Too much kicking...

Fatty on fatty was great to watch...

I'm not buying into the Fraser McReight hype as yet - the Reds are definitely better served with him instead of ASY, who is a fairly average player, but his technique over the ball is going to see him penalised more often than not, and if I was to pick a backup 7 for Hooper in the Wobs I'd go with Wright.

Anyone know if JOC broke something? Collarbone? Will wreck the Reds’ season if so.

I can remember a few turnovers and PKs he won that I disagreed with, however I think that's because of the Rebels eye was watching.
