Do we want the NPR deserters back?

Post by Derwyn »

With the clique all but gone, I find that this forum is a much more pleasant and rewarding experience.

For that, I give Jake a lot of credit and thanks. Marvellous job!

Though I do find it strange that the moderators (some of them anyway) of this parish still have their roles?

More than happy to slag off this place, its members and Jake so they can slither their way up the admin ladder on NPR yet still having the codez here. Hmm.

Anyway, not really for me to question. Something for Jake to perhaps look at.

I am a member of the f365 community, yes.

They have been really welcoming to myself, Keith, Muttonbird, Dismal Pillock, JPB, Toga and, of course, your good self. Amongst many others. A real open, vibrant and active community.

That difference between us, and ‘them’ over at NPR, is that we have not cut ties with the mothership. Or have this agenda to wish upon the demise of this bored, or to post nasty things about Jake and some others of the top brass.

There’s a real nasty element to some of NPR posters. Such posters are not missed.

Rumour around the water cooler is there won't be anything to desert soon, you would need something to desert from to be a deserter.

I am also sure the majority of people using that site would still be here if the Forum was planning on going tits up.

The link worked fine for me. The host site has been doing some maintenance this weekend. There has been a prominent warning notice up for users. Who’da thought of something like that eh?

Be nice if we could. I have always been fond of the contributions and debates we have on the Welsh thread. Yet I know where I am welcome. F365 have been great to me. On the other hand some of the comments on NPR (I have lurked) have been very disappointing. Shame.

I put it down to the Collision Point experience. It's not heavy to be in a forum with just 3-4 people for years.

How many other forums are there now?
I looked into the NPR, just as slow as PR is now, nothing different even the same topics re created by same posters.
Overall its just a dilution of posters

The soccer blokes have actually put together quite a decent forum. Just remember to stay the hell away from the rugby sub-forum.

Shoddy process here..... probably has driven some to take a break.

Here in Canada i can go and hunt/kill bear / moose / deer / squirrels / ducks / geese and rabbits most of summer so it is easy to take a break from posting for a bit. Basically it is uber eats where i live, just head out the door and into the bush out back .

I would love to live in a place like Canada, hunting etc. I enjoy watching guys in the wild cut up meat and cooking in the open fire. The cold would kill me though.

Nothing personal. I didn’t mention any names. But I’ll let you work out if you’re one of those.

Wasn't he jailed on CP. Defintly the place for him.
He’s as predictable as a two year old fulling its nappy, it’s only a matter of time before the next explosive episode as some people just love the smell of their own shit.

History repeats….. PR will go on, NPR will become the new CP and a long overdue run of mass banning’s to populate it.

I vote yes.

Because in the states (not Canada where Moosehead is from) a burger doesn't have the traditional contents of lettuce, tomato, etc and is called a sandwich. A burger appears to have simple meat condiments and pickles plus maybe cheese.

Also with regard to the whole NPR being populated by mass bannings, you will note none of the CP mongs have been permabanned recently, can't imagine why.
