I'm going to enjoy watching Hillary win this election. All the idiotic Trump acolytes such as Seneca, Croft, Blackrock Bullet etc will be made to look so stupid. That will be so funny to watch.

I think you will get your wish. Whether legally or illegally is another matter. The democratic process is a joke.

Trump can beat Hillary if he sticks to bashing on the issues as opposed to her gender, that would just backfire.

I am interested in why Hillary is viewed with such loathing. She has a reasonable record overall-is pretty moderate and obviously has tremendous ambition. She represents the establishment, is part of the troubling tradition of USA dynastic politics and possibly will be the last mainstream candidate given how the US bipartisan system is quite obviously no longer fit for purpose.

Is it because she's a woomin? I suspect a great deal of it is.

It's because she is a power hungry, lying psychopathic plum, who stands for absolutely nothing other than what promotes brand Hillary, and if that requires her organizing the destruction of the Libyan government, the Syrian government, and whover else is next, then she doesn't care.

If she wasnt American she would have been burned alive by this point, and she deserves it. At the very least, she should be behind bars or hanged for war crimes.

The issue she has is that every single insult Trump will throw at her will be likely accurate. He's certainly not fit to be President; however she is precisely the kind of politician that Americans appear tired of. She's Kevin Rudd in a skirt. Unlike Rudd, her long public career means there is no honeymoon. I reckon this may be a lot closer than many people expect.

Trump is certainly unfit to be President; however Hillary is a worm and most Americans know it.

Yeah, he's in trouble.

The good news is that the Dems might win the Senate and the GOP could stop using the supreme court as a political plaything for at least a generation. Perhaps with luck, the GOP totally implodes and they lose the house.... would need a huge implosion though. :?

Perhaps, with a lot of luck, the nutjobs that have driven the GOP ideology will be pushed back to the fringes where they belong, and the GOP returns to some kind of sensible social and economic position. Perhaps we only will have to put up with 4 years of the phony, corrupt piece of shit.

Likely 8 though. Good time to buy shares in US investment banks and arms manufacturers?

Funny that Repubs want to help Hillary win after spending 25 years crafting the narrative that she can't be trusted. More than half of her image problem stems from republican mudslinging that large sections of the new extreme left, I call them the Maté (pronounced ma-tay) party, have swallowed whole. I want to see the backstepping they will do here. Unfortunately, she will have to probably accept it because the phenomenon that is Trump is impossible to predict, along with the likelihood the Maté party and the Susan Sarandon's of the country cannot be relied upon because their too cool/their morals won't let them.

Trump's VP is going to be interesting. Usually, you chose someone that has what you are lacking. Trump's whole campaign has flown in the face of convention so who knows. It may be Donald Jr or Eric. It will likely be Christie because assholes love assholes and Christie is a blowhard and bully with experience governing.

Trump seems to be (only time will tell if he wins. He might be a plant like Obama) on the people side. Clinton is clearly owned. She is dangerous too with her love of killing and war

At the fourth Democratic debate in Charleston Sunday night, Hillary Clinton was asked about her personal relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Her slightly awkward response drew laughter from the crowd: “Well, my relationship with him, it’s — it’s interesting,” the former Secretary of State said.

But then she recovered, continuing, “It’s one, I think, of respect. We’ve had some very tough dealings with one another. And I know that he’s someone that you have to continually stand up to because, like many bullies, he is somebody who will take as much as he possibly can unless you do.”

Contrast this to Trump. Clinton is a dangereous nutcase
Marco Rubio attacked Donald Trump at Thursday’s debate for expressing admiration for Vladimir Putin. “Wrong, wrong, wrong!” Trump said, before explaining that it had been the other way around.

“Putin said about me—I didn't say about Putin—Putin said very nice things about me. And I say, very nicely, ‘Wouldn't it be nice if actually we could get along with Russia?’ ”

So the absolute latest poll has Clinton leading Trump by 13

Only one poll in the last 2-3 months has Trump with any kind of lead over Clinton. Is there a reason why the Rasmussen polls should be treated as more rliable than all the others?

You have to understand that in Silver's world, Trump leads. By a lot. And it will only grow.

Then again, in Silver's world, global vaccination programmes are an evil pharmaceutical conspiracy, the EU is hellbent on recreating concentration camps and global warming is a myth.
