Surely only Scousers would be bitter about Liverpool coming second?

I feel no bitterness towards Liverpool at the moment at all. 8)

What about people from Warrington?

City champions and potential domestic treble winners and then 2nd v 3rd in the Champions League Final and 4th v 5th in the Europa League final.
Not a bad year for English football after the WC semi final last year.

97 points and no title is insane. Seems almost unfair. Still I hope Liverpool take the champion league.

Feels like he hasn't won a game since becoming permanent manager.

It must be United's worst run of results since pre-fergie

2nd v 4th Champion's League and 3rd v 5th Europa League.

Arsenal were gash for such large parts of the season.

I think a few weeks ago we had the 2nd best home record, 1 point less than City. The issue is Arsenal are horrific away from home. And of course prone to defensive blunders. Sort the defence and get the away record better and Arsenal can easily be in the top 4.

As a United fan I'm obviously relieved Liverpool didn't win the league but only because you're two leagues behind us and City have a long way to catch both of us.

In terms of teams I dislike, I dislike this City side way more than Klopps Liverpool. I just don't like Pep.

I didn't and don't ever want City to get a European Cup and don't want Liverpool to win the league. Both happened and somewhat softened a dreadful season for the team I support

It's clearly the players. Need to get rid of Pogba, Jones, Young, Mata, Smalling, Herrera and Lukaku. A complete clear out needed and acceptance that it will take years to recover but the team has to be bigger than the players.

As long as the current top 4 and ManUre don't improve as well

Yeah, I was hoping that Emery would do better and feel that he has let 4th slip from his fingers. though if he can win the Europa Cup then he's got what Arsenal need. Still feels like there is some dead weight at Arsenal Ozil for example.

I actually don't see what's to dislike about this city side. Players all seem decent and Pep seems a great manager who isn't an arsehole

Arsenal tried to offload Ozil in January and Ozil refused to sign. He's just taking the piss really.

It's a pity because he should be such a good player. Aubameyang has been good though. Still tired of looking at Arsenal match stats and constantly seeing something like:

Arsenal:
Possession: 70%
Shots on goal: 3
Shots on Target: 1

Opponents:
Possession: 30%
Shots on Goal: 6
Shots on Target: 4

Just got up and, as usual for a Spurs fan, the first noise is a load "Phew"

What a crazy season for City and Pool - no doubt this has been posted but this was the difference between the two sides - congrats to both of them for keeping it interesting

That and he and Mourinho take over clubs with lots of money to do as they wish and are touted as the best.

If you lose just once all season and STILL don't win the league then it's pretty clear they'll never do it :(

Incredible points tally but despite getting 97 points, you can appreciate the fairness of coming second when you only took 1 point against the champions over two games.

Nah. They just need to get more points than any other team

Just watching the trophy presentation.

Thirty-something coaches and backroom staff.

Be interesting to see a list of who does what.

As an outside observer it is interesting to see the passion from neutrals. I wonder if it is the bigger competition size and so many smaller teams whose best hope is to be middle of the road that leads to more enjoyment in another teams' wins or losses.

Bolton Wanderers have gone into administration. Apparently to stop liquidation.

12 point deduction next season, plus the issues surrounding their missing a match in the last couple of weeks.

Bad business.

What's happened to Bolton since Big Sam left is a bit mad, I know there are deeper issues with the ownership, taxes et al, but it all seemed rosy when they were getting into Europe.

Don't think so - it's the tribal nature of sport in this country.

Chelsea better utilise him next season, that Derby vs Leeds game was something else.

Reece James and Mount have been fantastic in the Championship this season, Chelsea should use them next season but I anticipate them doing something stupid like sell Mount in order to facilitate the signing of Kovacic.
