Yes. Yes, they are.

When you hear the words, "Raiders need a stop", it's time to bet the farm on the opposition.

So frustrating.

At least the Bears continue to suck - so that pick's looking better by the week...

I feel bad for Pineiro missing the kick.
But only because of the kicker - certainly not the Bears.

He won the kicking job in Oakland last season, then got injured just before game 1 and went on IR.
We tried another gut before winding up with Carlson, who has been brilliant.
Smart trade to get something for Pineiro rather than just release him.

Given the record for the season so far, as a Vike fan, the losses to the Bears and Packers are pretty annoying. Two losses to teams in the NFC North could be very damaging.

You can't imagine how annoying the spanish narrators (dubbing over the original vice that can be overheard in the back) are. Last year my cable operator had the original audio on SAP, but this year they seem to have removed it, and it bugs the hell out of me...

Vikings are three games clear of the Lions & Bears.
And two games ahead of wild card candidates in the East and South.
And the West will eventually eat itself as the 49ers, Hawks and Rams play each other.

They're in great shape for the playoffs - unfortunately to Kirk Cousins, those games are usually shown on prime time TV

So many of our wins in 2016 game from a defensive stop to seal the deal AFTER Carr had made his customary 4th quarter game winning drive.
There's no real playmaker on that defence.

But I'm mostly dissapointed that an offence that had started to shred the weakened secondary, to lead 21-13, could only manage another 3 points.
We knew we needed to keep two scores in front. How many drops from Tyrell Williams?

The mighty AFC South is the only division with no teams with a losing record so far

Not sure but there will be a lot of Texans fans bringing up the Clowney trade now.

Haha, that's as convenient a trade for Leonard Williams as he's likely ever going to get. Doesn't even need to move house.

My mate (Browns fan) thought this was his year too. As a Niners fan, we have a bet each year for pints at the Superbowl - a pint per extra win a team gets. I haven't paid for pints for a few years now. :lol: :lol: And I'm gonna be well pissed by kick-off this year if I have to get through 10+ pints.

The Raiders defence makes a stand and it's a win! :o

Carr looking better than ever. Jacobs continues to feast.

Great watch.

Raider games are "must watch".

We have an offence that can keep us in just about any game.
Trouble is we have a defence that can keep the opposition in any game as well :lol: :lol: :blush:

Patriots folding here.

They're not used to playing an NFL side.

EDIT: I knew I'd jinx them...

Hmmm...Pats' supposedly all-time great defense looks pretty average against a team that doesn't suck donkey balls. Who would have guessed?

The only decent team they've played so far (Buffalo) aren't exactly offensively strong either.

Stinger for the ravens. They had them on the ropes, put together a drive there and run the clock down the way they have been and they’d be a cert.

I'm not comfortable we can even win until we have at least 30 on the board! :lol:

It's maddening.

Still, overall the guys have done a great job. Very happy with the season to date.

And the Bears continue to suck... :smug:

Ebner just fired off a pretty good spin rugby pass to the ref after downing the ball.

YES!

Defence with their best game on the season. Great shit!

I was ready to kill Carlson after he missed that PAT. :lol:

Last night game in Oakland is a win! Stoked!

If the Bears continue to lose and the Raiders somehow managed to package their pick up to get Chase Young, the Mack trade would start looking like master-stroke.

Rams fall to the Steelers. 9 points from our D, 3 from our O. Story of our season.
Goff is a shadow of last year's player without a solid O-line and the separation created by Gurley and the play action. Worryingly with the amount of money sunk into Gurley and Goff, we look pretty hamstrung for the next few years unless McVay can reinvent the offense somehow.

Yeah, Goff is a shadow of himself last year and before without Gurley in tow. Beginning to think their whole play book is built around having Gurley as an option.

If the Vikings win here tonight the eagles could still be in with a shot of topping the conference. We’ve a few weak teams up in the end of the season. Our season will come down to the Pats cowboys games. Too weak in the secondary and no receivers but we can make it to the playoffs.

The league appears to have figured out McVay and for a boy-genius he's taking quite a while to readjust. Can't blame it all on Gurley's crocked knee - we have two decent RBs in Henderson and Brown.

Was travelling yesterday and listened to about half the Colts-Dolphins game on the radio. 13 of Miami's 16 points came off Colts turnovers. The Colts had Brian Hoyer at QB in place of Brissett who was sitting out for injury. Hoyer threw 3 picks.

Vinateiri missed an extra point, his 6th this year. He has to retire at season's end.

MIAMI! 2-GAME WIN STREAK! 2-7! FLY FISH FLY!

Good move by the Steelers IMO. Miami paid his signing bonus and they obviously back the pick they dealt to be higher. Plus he’s a player I thought was going to be an All-Pro coming out of college.

He’s definitely going to be an All-Pro this year. Best Steeler DB since Polamalu.

Tied for the league lead in INTs. 5-2 since the trade with the two losses by a combined 7 points. All with the backup or third string QB starting.

Quote:
Minkah Fitzpatrick in 7 games with the Steelers:
* 34 tackles
* 5 INT
* 2 FF
* 1 FR
* 2 defensive TD scored
* Pittsburgh is 5-2 in those games

Carolina lost so they are still in good shape to win the division. Right now they are pretty much fighting with the Packers for the #2 spot in the NFC and a first round bye in the playoffs.

Yeah we will know how important it is after next week. If for some reason the Saints lose and the Panthers win it will be more important. The Saints still have some breathing room with a two game lead in the division.

It's not the easiest run in for them but panthers are in the same boat. Think it'll only be one qualifier from that conference with the WCs caoming from West & North.
