Whatever the result the Irish teams will need to re calibrate what they are doing in the breakdown.
We had discipline and low penalty count as a huge advantage against most teams. Have lost that now.

Agree. But at least we have found some players who can compete with the Sarries forwardsquarter2four wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 4:44 pm Whatever the result the Irish teams will need to re calibrate what they are doing in the breakdown.

Was knocked back by Sarries but ref couldnt have seen it.

Yeah, Porter had a clearer turnover than George's, but George's was given.Duff Paddy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 4:43 pmWe got done there - no problem with Jamie George but we had a turnover in the previous play and he said off his feet

I hate him so much. Wish he was Irish

Needed to give that early or take the hit.
Still not instinctive, could be costly.

Walking around to milk the penalty.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Saracens scrambling with the missed kicks.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
At least it won't be a complete embarrassment if we lose now. But we really should be ahead by now.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Sarries leaving the door open for Leinster if they can get down the other end of the field.
Sarries have won the last two restarts which have ben vital.

Itoje caught Ringrose around the neck, but it was missed. Leinster then pass into touch on the next phase. Harsh.

What the fudge was that
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Leinster would have had some chance but impossible with how the scrum has gone. 7 scrum pens for Saracens.

Leinster will kick themselves
Much the better side just never turned up for the first 40
Some criminal selection decisions though.
Would imagine that’s more or less the end of the line for Cronin/Toner

Commiserations Leinster lads, horrible place to be when you know another 5mins would've made the odds.

OK, now who to support in the competition?
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Leinsters setpiece and work under the highball has been a huge weakness since the restart.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
What was the penalty count- I've not seen Leinster give away so many for a long time.
