Brilliant defence from Racing.

How many turnovers does Vakatawa have now, 3?

Was thinking about that the other day. The only way I could think would be if you would only be considered part of the ruck if you were in contact with the tackled player as a crude starting point. Obviously that rule on its own wouldn't work but agree the current situation of three player lining up behind each other and the last player being part of a ruck is farcical.

It just allows too much leeway to the box kick, stops it being competitive.
Almost turns things into a set piece.

Beale, not a bad replacement to bring in.

I wonder if Racing have the control to make this smart "take the points" work.

He didn't do much apart from receiving two try scoring passes and doing the necessary

Racing need to win this so need something creative now

yup. Just a tit-handed front row making a clumsy effort/reaction to the ball crossing in front of him.

Though if it was a bacon sandwich he probably would have caught it

Ruck was formed (there was about 6 lads in it) so should have been a penno the other way

Racing gave up waaay too many points to think about winning this.

Where was the penalty there. Racing had the turnover and Exeter 19 threw himself headfirst in to dislodge the ball from his hands. What am I missing that Nigel sees.

Bad way to finish a game .... nige made a few interesting decisions in the last 10

Racing probably deserved to lose it for being downright stupid too often

I’m a fan and have always admired his way of playing but his flaws didn’t help today.

Racing couldn't operate if he didn't play the way he does. They are obviously happy to accept the risk reward and it does make good viewing. I probably won't be saying the same when he suits up for Scotland. :?

25 European Cups in history.

10 English wins.
8 French.
7 Irish*

Not bad for a bunch of spivs.

8)

* Ulster's victory doesn't really count.
