Coombes or Casey for MOTM.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It's great to watch a real rugby match in the Pro14. They're rare.

A nod to Haley as well. Incredibly solid given the conditions.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Doris doesn't play for Munster, as that couldn't be the Irish backrow as it's dominated by Leinsters every time they play each other
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Hopefully get the BP now.

Kleyn deserves his try. He's had a very good game.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Kleyn with the case you'd expect on a dry track.

He's certainly no Robbie Diack
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Well played Munster, that was a good win.
Will be very interested to see how Casey goes in the HEC.

Great to see Coombes shine in a proper dogfight in shite weather. Turnovers, tries, link play, aggression - early days, but v exciting prospect.

Two tough Pro 14 matches for Ulster & Munster
Still brings in 2 bonus points wins
League is dying on its arse

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
The Scottish sides always struggle during international breaks, they lose too many players to remain competitive. It is the Welsh that are the problem.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
He’s like a bull in the motm interview. The leg is going 20.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I have to agree.
The gulf is only going to get bigger too.
Could we create divisions in the pro14. Provinces would get more out of it if they played each other more and the top 2/3 'others'

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Still miles off the top but for once there's competition in the squad, a style that suits us being a bunch of niggly f*cks on every play and skills are in the post.
Will take that every day of the week.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Its a real problem.
We are too good for this league.
Lose television audiences, lose the league.
Don't think the SA Super League clubs are the answer.
Have to be British Irish league, two divisions, promotion and relegation.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I think this will have to be the final outcome
There will be fear about the control the English spivs will bring to the table
Also is the death knell of:
a) The European Cup
b) Italian club rugby
But the welsh have boasted how games against the English will get their juices flowing so think of all that glorious Welsh TV money
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Gavin Coombes Motm. He seems a bit camera shy as you would be at that age. As he was being interviewed his leg was twitching like a bull scratching his front leg as he’s about to charge the matador. Some man. Fair play to him.
He was probably full of beans. Enjoying these matches no doubt.
