I'd say the malahide 3rds would have defended that better

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I have seen toddlers less interested in a dumny than Stockdale there
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Real quality try.Thread
Real quality try.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Awful defence
Fair dues to the Georgians though, took it very well.

He needs to make that tackle.HighKingLeinster wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:20 pm I have seen toddlers less interested in a dumny than Stockdale there
Twice now at international level. No issue with him being fullback, just his getting the gig without even a season at provincial.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Was it just me or did Porter decide on the tap tackle very early there?
I know it's a centre on a prop but he's no slouch and I thought he could have got at him.

Stockdale is still by a country mile out best attacking back

The pace of Stockdale, keeping up with a 34 year old winger.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
And that sums up why Stockdale can't defend, absolutely awful 2nd time in 3 games he bought a dummy. Georgia hadn't scored a point this tournament up to then.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Yep no arguments from meHighKingLeinster wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:24 pmNo doubt about this. But we really need him to sort out his defensive work. He'll be a serious weapon then
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
He buys dummies because he wants to. He wants to avoid contact at all costs.Luckycharmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:24 pm And that sums up why Stockdale can't defend, absolutely awful 2nd time in 3 games he bought a dummy. Georgia hadn't scored a point this tournament up to then.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
So Stockdale left 2 on 1 is the reason Georgia scored for the first time this tournamentLuckycharmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:24 pm And that sums up why Stockdale can't defend, absolutely awful 2nd time in 3 games he bought a dummy. Georgia hadn't scored a point this tournament up to then.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Whatever about Stockdale his compadres did him no favours with the cover. Same happened to him in another recent match. They just don't work hard enough

WTF was that call?
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
All my rugby life I've noticed that lads who don't like a tackle buy alot of dummies.

A 2 on 1 you absolute spoofer.Luckycharmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:28 pmIf you let him in a try each game, you better be scoring 2. His contributions so far a fresh air on a grunbber, 1 half decent run and yet again buying a simple dummy.

Have ypu ever played rugby, you smash the man, force him to pass if he puts it away fair enough not your fault. To buy the same dummy twice in 2 games is unforgivable.Winnie wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:26 pmSo Stockdale left 2 on 1 is the reason Georgia scored for the first time this tournamentLuckycharmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:24 pm And that sums up why Stockdale can't defend, absolutely awful 2nd time in 3 games he bought a dummy. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Stockdale is the Irish fluffbert.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
And had he smashed the man and the last went to the 9 for a run in no doubt you and that other retard jumper would still have said it was his faultLuckycharmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:31 pmHave ypu ever played rugby, you smash the man, force him to pass if he puts it away fair enough not your fault. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I'm behind, just saw the chip and chase from Stockdale on 19ish minutes. It's a two on one, if he just fixes the nine and passes Earls scores.
He's such a dumb player.

The dude tried the dummy so in your fantasy situation what actually would have happened was the 13 got smashed for being greedy.Winnie wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:33 pmAnd had he smashed the man and the last went to the 9 for a run in no doubt you and that other retard jumper would still have said it was his faultLuckycharmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:31 pmHave ypu ever played rugby, you smash the man, force him to pass if he puts it away fair enough not your fault. It's really not a big deal but the damage was the line break but you spas trying to rewrite 130 years of fullback job one tells it's own story
