I console myself, rather pitifully, with the 'Jack of all trades master of none' saying whilst trying not to think about my inadequacies!

Diplomatic, given this was an opportunity to name&shame those who'd made you deathly ill by visiting you in your professional capacity.

As a Dane he almost certainly speaks Swedish and/or Norwegian as well. They get Swedish television there so they grow up with it.

I dunno how people do it, it just blows my mind. I've been struggling with Swedish for seven f-cking years and still can't have a proper adult conversation in the language.

Most likely speaks German too

I can still understand why he would learn to speak the European languages, but Arabic? Or Catalan?

He'll very likely be able to speak Norwegian, given that it only formally diverged from Danish in the 19thC. And I'd be surprised if he could not speak in German too.

His Spanish sounds South American (Columbia or below) - I'd be interested to know where he picked that up. He certainly sounded very fluent in that, French and of course English, and pretty comfortable in Italian. The Arabic and Catalan speeches sounded "learnt", though with French and Spanish already, the latter would be pretty easy for him.

The russians gave me the nickname 'Assassin', because I murdered their language.
