Final offer, in the the spirit of this thread and its goal of "bipartisan civility".
It's a time to heal.

As I see it the GND is a vision. Practically it will have to be implemented piece by piece. Any idea to implement it all at once is foolish. But it gives a blueprint of where one wants to go, what one wants to achieve asap
The simple fact that she is debated on here is testimony of her prominent position already among Dems.

Question now is whether she'll manage to build on this good start.

If she wanted to be elected in Italy, I would suggest she'd for photos + interview on Playboy, but I am not sure the American public would respond that enthusiastically.

I read somewhere that the Parler people were complaining that they didn't have the resources to moderate their users and therefore, this was all very unreasonable.

There was this incredulous statement along the lines of, "Whoa! Wait, they're expecting us to have the same capability and standards that Twitter and Facebook do?"

Well then they shouldn't host that level of people. Pretty easy to bat back.

While by the constitution a president must be 35 years old, the reality is that practically speaking a candidate has to morel like 45 to be taken seriously as a candidate. It's also hard to imagine someone from the house of representatives running.

AOC won't have a viable ring at the presidency until at least 2032, at which point she may have mellowed, or the electorate may have swung left. It's far to early to say she can or can't ever be president.

Can’t see the Sierra Club or Mothers for the O-zone coming up with any decent funding for a bid.
Couldn’t see that money coming from Tech?
As laughable as it seemed a few years back I’m not prepared to say it’s impossible in 8-12 years.
She just needs to repackage her socialist ideals and sell it to Americas as their own idea.

They are not Socialist ideas by any defonition a European would use.
Perhaps the term Social Democratic would be a more appropriate term.
Anyway I hope she does well and does not sell out her left wing (by USA standards) opinions.

Trump trying to gaslight the American people with his filmed statement today.

What incitement? What calls to violence?

And then making himself the victim of an "unprecedented attack on free speech".

Teddy Roosevelt would've been to the left of the GND.

In fairness, he would've been a lot more hawkish in terms of Middle East policy, and would probably be wondering how a Spaniard, and a lady to boot, managed to infiltrate the Houses of Congress, but on policy towards workers and the environment he'd be right there with her.

Precedent set with president assembling his fans in Washington, firing them up with a fiery "stop the steal" speech, then pointing at the Capitol.

Yep - the next time a President sends a violent group to the Capitol which then invades the seat of Government, you can expect another impeachment.
